About me

Hi, I'm Sophie and welcome to my page.

I support my clients find direction, purpose and build their confidence.  I can support you to go from a feeling of languishing, to flourishing in your life. I have over 5 years experience life coaching. I have a wide background of experience and training in cognitive behavioural coaching, integrative counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, experiential wilderness therapy, working with nature, positive psychology and motivational interviewing.

I specialise in Neurodiverse Coaching, due to an extensive background in working with individuals with ADHD, ADD and ASC. If you are struggling with living in a world designed for neurotypical people, have trouble managing time and organising your personal and professional life, or want to find ways to use your unique strengths, my coaching can help you.

I have a warm, empathic yet directive, solution focused approach. We will focus on the here-and-now, and I will support and facilitate you to connect with your own needs and create meaningful change.

What could you gain from sessions?

I encourage self awareness and self belief in all my clients and promote positive and realistic change to achieve your goals through cultivating and applying your unique strengths and skills. I use various tools and bring in creativity, to support the work and delve deeper to find answers and bring about lasting change.

 My services:

Neurodivergent Coaching

I understand the minds of neurodivergent clients work differently, with their own abilities and strengths unique to them, and obstacles that are only understood by someone with experience with this client base. I have worked with clients who have ADHD, ADD and Autism and see this as a specialised area of coaching.

Health & Wellbeing coaching

Looking after our selves, whilst balancing work, family, home life, hobbies and everything on top is challenging. My coaching can encompass a wide range of wellbeing goals and difficulties including the following.

●      Relationships and connection
●      Existential dread
●      Self-esteem & confidence
●      Work-life balance
●      Stress and anxiety
●      Climate anxiety

Career/Business coaching ‎

Covid changed our working lives forever. For many, it bought about a big shift. I can help you to recognise strengths, support a change of their career path, or discover what really motivates you.

●      Changing career path
●      Dealing with work challenges
●      Personal development
●      Workplace anxiety
●      Burnout

Youth Coaching

I coach young people (aged 16-26) due to my years of experience working with this age group in a therapeutic setting, through surf therapy, youth counselling, and longer term coaching. Sessions for this age group are at a reduced rate of £65.00. If you are lost, stuck or confused, my coaching would be just right for you.

Wild Coaching / Walk and talk 🍂- I have completed training in working with people who are wanting to make a change in the outdoors, using nature and the environment as a tool in the sessions. From the setting of the South Downs or the beach, connecting with the outdoors in the open air whilst walking can help to rediscover yourself whilst facilitating meaningful change through nature.

My Life Coaching approach: The Transformation(al) Approach

Combining Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness, my services help individuals find clarity and confidence to find direction, get out of the stuckness, and thrive.

Due to also being a fully qualified therapist, my approach draws on my therapy skill set in holding a safe space, and using active listening, however it is different to coaching, and I keep the two separate. I am a warm and empathic person, very passionate about helping the wellbeing of others to become the best versions of themselves.

I believe people hold the answers to their questions, it is my role to help you find them.

Testimonials

"Sophie was very patient and empathic and let the sessions evolve organically in a comfortable environment. I would recommend Sophie's life coaching services to friends, family and colleagues."

"Sophie is a consummate professional, easy to speak with and very good at what she does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her."

"The course of sessions provided flexibility to explore different aspects of my life and how I could start taking steps towards the changes I wanted to see. It reminded me that I have the tools available but it was a matter of knowing how and when to use and apply them with confidence. One of the key parts of the process was being able to reflect on aspects of my life, which meant I was able to become a bit more objective and rationalise any fears or insecurities."

"Every time now that my life seems to be heading for chaos, I think back to how the calm and collected way Sophie was with me! In the sessions, she would manage to help me by guiding my thoughts, enabling me to explore my thoughts. Together, we set out simple plans of action. Problem solving through using various techniques.
With a life coach, I am free to think, setting aside time, making a plan of achievable goals and gaining confidence through follow up. It's then a changed mentality! Thank you Sophie!"
