About me

Hi, I'm Sophie.

I am a Life Coach and Outdoor Therapist specialising in working with young adults, and neurodivergent individuals in Brighton & Sussex. I help you to change your life, if you're struggling with purpose, confidence, feeling stuck and lost or unfulfilled, and in navigating life stages. My sessions support you to develop your strengths, and achieve personal and/or professional goals. and discover harmony and clarity in your life.

I support clients to reach their potential. If there is something you want to change in your life but you haven't been able to get there yourself, I am here to help, providing a space for enabling deep and meaningful change, and a sense of thriving. I have a strengths based and solution focused approach, working together with individuals to achieve their goals, and also a deeper understanding of themselves.

My passion is helping people improve their wellbeing through building trust and a positive working alliance, creating a space for enabling deep and meaningful change, and a sense of thriving which I have been helping individuals to do for 7 + years.

My  unique approach is developed through years of working with a wide range of individuals in different roles using my coaching skills. Having been there myself as a young adult, life offers so many opportunities, it can feel overwhelming, and this is why I can empathise deeply with this group of the population and provide a service to them which utilises my skillset, knowledge and understanding.

I help you achieve what you set out to by bringing in tools and techniques from CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, experiential wilderness therapy, Positive Psychology and motivational interviewing.

I have helped many neurodiverse individuals with ADHD, ADD and ASC. If you are struggling with living in a world designed for neurotypical people, have trouble managing time and organising your personal and professional life, or want to find ways to use your unique strengths, my coaching can help you.

I have a warm, empathic yet directive, solution focused approach. We will focus on the here-and-now, and I will support and facilitate you to connect with your own needs and create meaningful change.

What could you gain from sessions?

I encourage self awareness and self belief in all my clients and promote positive and realistic change to achieve your goals through cultivating and applying your unique strengths and skills. I use various tools and bring in creativity, to support the work and delve deeper to find answers and bring about lasting change.

 My services:

Neurodivergent Coaching

I understand the minds of neurodivergent clients work differently, with their own abilities and strengths unique to them, and obstacles that are only understood by someone with experience with this client base. I have worked with clients who have ADHD, ADD and Autism and see this as a specialised area of coaching.

Career coaching ‎

●      Changing career path
●      Personal development and confidence
●      Workplace anxiety/burn-out

Youth Coaching

I coach young people (aged 18-25) due to my years of experience working with this age group in a therapeutic setting, through surf therapy, youth counselling, and youth work. If you are lost, stuck or confused, transitioning from college to university, or university to work life, I can help you to find your path forwards.

My Life Coaching approach: The Transformation(al) Approach

Combining Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness, my services help individuals find clarity and confidence to find direction, get out of the stuckness, and thrive.

Due to also being a fully qualified therapist, my approach draws on my therapy skill set in holding a safe space, and using active listening, however it is different to coaching, and I keep the two separate. I am a warm and empathic person, very passionate about helping the wellbeing of others to become the best versions of themselves.

I believe people hold the answers to their questions, it is my role to help you find them.

Testimonials

"Sophie was very patient and empathic and let the sessions evolve organically in a comfortable environment. I would recommend Sophie's life coaching services to friends, family and colleagues."

"Sophie is a consummate professional, easy to speak with and very good at what she does. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her."

"The course of sessions provided flexibility to explore different aspects of my life and how I could start taking steps towards the changes I wanted to see. It reminded me that I have the tools available but it was a matter of knowing how and when to use and apply them with confidence. One of the key parts of the process was being able to reflect on aspects of my life, which meant I was able to become a bit more objective and rationalise any fears or insecurities."

"Every time now that my life seems to be heading for chaos, I think back to how the calm and collected way Sophie was with me! In the sessions, she would manage to help me by guiding my thoughts, enabling me to explore my thoughts. Together, we set out simple plans of action. Problem solving through using various techniques.
With a life coach, I am free to think, setting aside time, making a plan of achievable goals and gaining confidence through follow up. It's then a changed mentality! Thank you Sophie!"
