About me

About me

My clients have described my coaching as insightful, empowering, and transformational. I work with a wide range of clients, considering both large and small transitions in their lives. Whether you are starting a new business, looking for executive or career coaching, looking to work on your confidence or a personal development issue or trying to pick your way through any number of life’s more challenging situations, feel free to reach out.

I aim to enable my clients to achieve sustainable progress towards a more fulfilling existence.

I quickly get to understand the heart of your issue. I can then help you navigate complex situations with clarity where confusion may have dominated before.

I have supported many clients as they have instigated significant life transitions, making a seemingly unachievable dream a reality.

Corporate Coaching Experience

I have over 25 years of experience managing, supporting, and coaching large teams and individuals, from senior management to entry-level staff. I have held senior management and directorial positions in large, dynamic corporate environments, including FT-250, FT-100 and global businesses.

As such, I am well-positioned to offer organisational, executive and team coaching to help you and your organisation take the next step.

Individual Coaching Experience

As well as being a coach, I am also a fully qualified counsellor with a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) degree. As such, I am highly experienced at working with a wide array of individual client needs and blocks. Some of the things that I may support you with include:

Trying to make sense of a relationship.
What to do next once made redundant.
Looking to career path.
Working on self-confidence.
Personal development.
Anxiety
Stuck in a rut and trying to work out what to do next.
Referral to one of the team for ADHD coaching and support.

About the Coaching Team

Hope Therapy & Counselling Services has a team of 40+ coaches, counsellors and therapists. So if I am not absolutely what you are looking for, maybe there is a particular specialism that you need, then I am always happy to refer you to whoever would be most suitable.

We have executive coaches, transformation specialists and life coaches available with huge levels of experience.

A Typical Coaching Approach

We alI tailor our coaching to your exact individual needs, but a typical approach could be:

1)    Free 15-minute consultation call to discuss the process and topics and see how we get on. As I work with a whole team of coaches, we may decide that someone else in the team would be more suitable for you. Part of the consultation would be to discuss your exact needs and establish just the right person for you.

2) Session 1- contracting to create a safe, confidential space – discuss and agree on boundaries.

Exploration of your focus area so I can deeply understand your situation.

We will then create a goal for our coaching sessions and prioritise the focus areas.

3) The rest of the sessions (2 to usually 5) will be about making progress towards your chosen goal. To do this, we will run through a number of techniques to empower you; these might include;

-       taking a holistic audit of your life now and your ideals

-       breaking down any barriers to success

-       establishing enablers to encourage progression

-       exploring any sense of feeling stuck

-       developing new perspectives

-       exploring your values, your motivators, your strengths

-       understanding and accepting your sense of self

4) After each session, reflection will be encouraged, and tasks are often issued to promote deeper learning and speed up progress towards the end goal.

5) As an outcome of coaching, you are likely to;

-       achieve your goal

-       have increased resilience

-       be more self-aware

-       feel empowered and re-energised

-       be more accountable

-       develop a positive mindset and proactive attitude

-       feel more confident

-       have re-focused and re-prioritised what is important to you

-       be equipped with tools to apply to future situations

I am happy to operate in person when possible. Still, coaching is just as effective via phone or video call (I can offer Zoom, Skype, What’s App, MS Teams, or FaceTime).
