About me

Leadership & Performance Coaching For Leaders and Organisations

I provide coaching and training services specialising in helping overwhelmed leaders create sustainable high performance - leading more effectively, delivering better results, and building high-performing teams so they can go home on time and take 'The Big Week Off' - zero work, zero stress, zero guilt.

I'm Zoë Thompson, an Accredited Master Coach with the Association for Coaching, NLP Master Practitioner, and Leadership & Performance Coach.

With 20 years in police leadership (team leader at 21, senior manager at 30, Logistics Manager in Major Crime Investigation), I've led high-performing teams, navigated complex challenges, and achieved results under extreme pressure.

I competed internationally in strongwoman, raised my son as a single parent, and built a profitable business (8+ years).

My journey is evidence that you can balance ambition with what matters most.

I help overwhelmed leaders who are stuck in firefighting mode, working evenings and weekends, questioning if they can actually do it all - confidence slipping, negative mindset spiralling and self-doubt increasing daily.

Through 1:1 coaching, an 8-week transformation programme and my Leadership Community, I help clients implement changes using my PIIPS Framework™ for Aligned Success and AAA Time Framework.

My work supports the implementation of practical tools and strategies to create practical change, and mindset and confidence work to create identity and belief shifts that embed the change at its core.

This transformation helps leaders:

  • Become more efficient, more effective and increase their performance as a leader.
  • Build a confident, self-sufficient and high-performing team
  • Finish work on time, not working evenings and weekends
  • Stop being the go-to problem-solver and develop problem-solvers
  • Lead with confidence without constant overwhelm
  • Take 'The Big Week Off' with zero work, zero stress, zero guilt
  • Create success that feels as good as it looks

I am based in Bristol, UK, working globally with leaders and organisations ready to transform from reactive to intentional leadership.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 15 years of experience in coaching and mentoring, and a professional background in the police service, where I held senior leadership, operational, and change management roles.

I’m an Accredited Master Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, Executive Coach, and have trained in a wide range of coaching methodologies. My coaching is grounded in practical experience and structured to support meaningful change.

I created the 'PIIPS Framework for Aligned Success' to support clients in developing a clear plan, stepping into the identity required to lead their next chapter, and taking consistent action with clarity and confidence.

"You evidence a highly conscientious approach to all aspects of your coaching, including keen attention to continually improving yourself professionally, and provide a structured and ethical experience for your clients.

Your professionalism, commendable ability for honest self-appraisal, and caring deeply about giving the best service you can to all your clients are clearly demonstrated".

Further information

I work online and in-person (Bristol, UK and surrounding areas), offering flexible coaching options to fit how you lead and live.

My Approach:

I combine 20 years of senior leadership experience with formal coaching expertise (Accredited Master Coach, Executive Coach, NLP Master Practitioner). I've navigated the same challenges my clients face - leading under extreme pressure, working evenings and weekends, questioning if reactive patterns were sustainable.

As a single parent who raised my son while competing internationally in strongwoman and building a business, I understand first-hand what it takes to balance ambition with what matters most. I've lived the transformation from reactive to intentional leadership.

I draw on performance psychology from elite sport and high-pressure leadership to help clients build resilience, consistency, and intentional habits that create sustainable success.

Working Together:

My coaching is direct, practical, and focused on identity-level transformation - not quick fixes or surface tactics. We work on who you need to become as a leader, not just what you need to do.

I run an inclusive, values-led practice. All individuals are welcome, and I'm committed to creating a safe, respectful, and accessible space for every client. I offer flexible ways of working and welcome suggestions that will help make the coaching experience work for you.

Sessions are conducted online via video call or in-person in Bristol, depending on your preference and location.
