About me
I hold registered status as a coaching psychologist and counsellor/therapist. My approach most often integrates these disciplines.
My work is principally focused upon the particular demands of entrepreneurs and business leaders as they discover their unique value, - seek out ingeniously effective ways to overcome presenting barriers - and strive to fulfil their potential.
Setting up and scaling a business can be exposing personally and professionally. Success rarely comes without incurring both practical and psychological costs. Any number of unexpected challenges can be brought to the fore that, if not addressed, can take you off course or hold you back. Finding the right kind of support at the right time can sometimes be a daunting task.
As a founder myself, I connect with the demands and rewards involved in scaling a business first-hand. I am fortunate to work daily with business owners and leaders across the globe. This brings a diversity of experience and a deep appreciation for the demanding pursuit of entrepreneurial freedom to my work.
I've also made a fair few leaps into the unknown in my time moving from public to private sector and from big corporate to start and scale up - so if you're ready to switch things up but haven't (yet) ventured out into unchartered territory then I've been there too.
I prefer to work in a highly collaborative, flexible and dynamic manner thats bespoke to your needs, circumstances and aspirations. Professional memberships & certificates
I'm a registered Member of both the British Association for Counseling & Psychotherapy (MBACP), the International Society for Coaching Psychology (MISCP) and am a Member of Division for Coaching Psychology (DoCP) within the British Psychological Society.
I'm also an accredited Strengthscope Master Practitioner (the only strengths assessment available with BPS registered test status) and as such can use the full range of these strength-based profiling tools in my work.
Professional qualifications & academic credentials
My doctoral research focused on risk and resilience and these themes continue to inform my practice today.
I hold post-graduate degrees in Integrative Coaching & Counseling, Applied Positive Psychology, Child Development and an Executive MBA.
I spent nearly a decade working with and managing social work services for children and families in need, child protection, looked after children and unaccompanied asylum-seekng children.

Due to my integrative approach, many years as a children's services social worker and as an approved foster carer, we can cover pre-disposing and presenting issues that can be traced back to our early life experiences including harm and abuse, as well as challenges encountered as a parent if this is relevant for you.
