About me

As the co-founder of Firestarter, I specialise in helping purpose-led entrepreneurs and business leaders scale their ventures while staying true to their mission. By blending creativity with psychological insights, I empower leaders to discover their unique value and overcome the personal and professional challenges that come with growth.

With diverse experience across sectors and industries, including transitions from corporate roles to start-up life, I understand the courage it takes to navigate uncharted territory.

My approach integrates my expertise as a coaching psychologist, my qualifications in counselling & psychotherapy, and my lived experiences as a founder, father, and foster parent.

Let’s discuss how I can help you find clarity and success in your journey. Contact me here to explore more.

Training, qualifications & experience

Professional Memberships & Certifications
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP), the International Society for Coaching Psychology (MISCP), and a member of the Division of Coaching Psychology (DoCP) within the British Psychological Society. I am also an accredited Strengthscope Master Practitioner, using the only BPS-registered strengths assessment tool.

Professional Qualifications & Academic Credentials
My doctoral research focused on risk and resilience—core themes that guide my practice today. I hold postgraduate degrees in Integrative Coaching and Counselling, Applied Positive Psychology, Child Rights & Development, and an Executive MBA.

With nearly a decade of experience managing social work services for children& families and more recent periods as a foster parent, I have worked across child protection, asylum-seeking children, and family support, which deeply informs my coaching approach.

Areas of coaching I deal with

Other areas of coaching I deal with

Due to my integrative approach, many years as a children's services social worker and as an approved foster carer, we can cover pre-disposing and presenting issues that can be traced back to our early life experiences, including harm and abuse, as well as challenges encountered as a working parent if this is relevant for you.
