About me

Who am I?

I am an experienced coach working with clients looking to change things in their lives but who are not sure where to start.

Often we lose direction and motivation or become confused and disillusioned and by working together I can help you identify what is really important to you, create a program with focus on key areas of your life including relationships, finance, career, work life balance, self esteem and many more areas of your lives.

My background was working for over twenty years in busy industry managing large teams. I loved the variety of my role and especially the colleagues I worked with but I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of room for creativity and growth for individuals in certain sectors of the business world.  As a qualified person centred and CBT counsellor I recognised that in order to get the best from our lives and relationships we first need to understand what motivates us and also to be in touch with our feelings and emotions.

Watching people gain confidence, improve their personal development and discover what is important as well as finding ways to improve their physical, emotional and mental health in order to be there for others is one of the greatest and most humbling experiences. I have never looked back since starting my own practice, where I combine my working life experience alongside my counselling background to provide personal, business and career coaching.

What areas do I cover?

1-1 life coaching - career coaching, business coaching, self-esteem and confidence building, well-being, anxiety, health and well-being,  relationships, work life balance including creating a program with the tools to achieve and maintain in the future

Business coaching - 1-1 or team coaching including leadership skills,  succession planning, time management, self esteem, motivation, risk management, mediation and conflict

What you can expect?

We start at the beginning. Who you are, your background, relationships and motivations.  Often we have unrealistic expectations and feel disappointed when they don't come to fruition and it may even be that those ambitions are not even our own but come from other people. This can lead to issues relating to low self esteem and lack of confidence.  It can also be that life changing incidents such as a bereavement, redundancy, breakdown of a relationship can have a massive impact and make us question the direction we are heading.

What happens next?

First I would propose a free 20 minute telephone consultation in order for you to establish what you are looking for from a coach and that you feel comfortable that I am the person to help you achieve it.  At the end of this consultation we can discuss the next steps

I find the best results come from a personal commitment to a minimum of 6 sessions in order to develop a strong relationship and work through a targeted but unique plan created specifically to your needs. These can be carried out weekly or monthly depending on your own timeframe

However, if you are looking for a couple of sessions to get you back on track or just need a small amount of guidance I can also tailor a more intense program.

Thank you for taking time to read my profile and I wish you every success in your search for the right coach for you.
