Hello, I'm JK (Jennie-Kate), offering transformative coaching that uniquely combines traditional life, mindset & career coaching with the benefits of nature. Whether in my private woodland near Ripon, Walk and Talk sessions across W&N Yorkshire or online, I help you find clarity and purpose through a personalised and down-to-earth approach to coaching and change.
I work with both men and women, typically between ages 25-54.

What is a discovery call?
I offer a free Zoom or telephone calling, lasting around 20 minutes.
The aim of this is to form a brief understanding of your aims and motivations to explore coaching.
A chance to ask me any questions
I will share my style, approach, package options and prices as well as let you know how to book and get started if you're ready to do so.
It is really crucial that you find a coach who is a great fit, and likewise, I only offer sessions to people I know I can help meet their aims and intentions and are ready for a coaching approach to change.
When looking for a coach I recommend speaking with 2-3 to get a feeling for your best fit. Make a few notes of what is important to you, in advance of the conversation and reflect on this afterwards.

COACHING ARCHETYPES - THE PEOPLE I COACH THE MOST!
Working as an experienced coach and facilitator, I feel confident to share with you the types of people and circumstances I can help the most. This helps us both get the best experience from the coaching approach.
I'm not the type of coach who says they can help everyone. I value our collective time and energy too much.
So here are a few 'archetypes' based on the amazing people I get to coach alongside. Have a look and see if you find yourself in one of them. I'm still happy to have a discovery call to explore your circumstances further. But this will help you speed up clarity on your search for a coach:
Coaching Women
The Nurturer - You've spent most of your life looking after and pleasing others, at the cost of your own well-being and confidence.
This has had an impact on mental health and even long-term health conditions and you actually can't remember what it would be like to 'be you' just for you.
You may have been recently diagnosed or exploring neurodiversity. But now you need help to get to know yourself better and find strategies that will actually work.
You are likely to be going through some significant life changes. (This might be peri-menopause, menopause, empty nest or children reaching the next stage of life. New or ending relationships or even going through a divorce. )
You may be reaching the caring age for parents and having to navigate that transition [alongside sibling relationships too]. Have new expectations that stretch you, or be impacted by loss.
Work is a complex pack of situations and you're trying to understand whether this career makes you happy, you are burnt out or its all the other stuff that's the problem.
You need clarity, a place to just speak as yourself without anyone trying to fix or telling you 'you've got this' (you have by the way!)
All those emotions. A sadness for the little girl that played in the wild that still sits within your heart and a calling to rewild yourself and ignite your life with fresh perspectives and ways of being. Oh, and a space for self-expression and creativity too.
Time to put down the 'good girl' pressures of perfection, leave the imposter behind and rekindle that true inner nature!
The Courageous Creative - Aged 25-42. You are a fearless and wild woman - to the rest of the world, bringing light to a room and doing good in so many ways. But inside you often feel overwhelmed, doubting and confused. You're trying to lean into this spiritual and creative calling within but there are tensions within and you are feeling lost and unsure. An adverse situation or a recent personal challenge is stopping you from knowing if you are on the right path and the courage to create change in your life is causing you issues, because now there seem too many choices and you fear you're just 'running away'.
You don't want the things of traditional society right now - you long for your wild freedom.
You need a coach to help you connect with the idea or dream you have.
To make it happen and be able to trust yourself with it. Not to be taunted by feelings that make you feel out of your depth or worried you'll mess everything up or silly to imagine. We'll use creativity and Nature alongside pragmatic and practical coaching conversations to help you find your purpose and impact in this world. You are the wild women our world needs, here to push boundaries and break moulds and I am here to help you on that adventure!
Coaching Men
The Burley-Big Heart - You are a big guy, with an even bigger heart. But you've struggled with how to process emotions and look after yourself, deep down. Because society has decided the type of 'masculinity' you should fit in.
You are at a point in your life, where your feelings lead you to ask questions about your next steps. Knowing what to do with all the complex feelings is hard at times, and may have led you to dark places. People in your life have noticed it's preventing happiness and direction. You are a deep thinker [with self-confessed 'geekiness'] and have created a career and life most people would be impressed with. However, the corporate world, Alpha-Heavy team or institution you work for is surrounded by complex dynamics, people, and expectations that leave you second-guessing yourself and feeling stressed and anxious. There have been some ups and downs in life, nothing major, but it had a lasting impact on your self-esteem. From being bullied or ostracised at school, to the loss of a parent, complex relationships or witnessing something that felt traumatic. You find yourself whirling and re-visiting the feelings of these memories in the spaces of the day.
You used to find nature a safe space to be as a child. You have that relationship with it still through hobbies, lifestyle or even work. Or are you longing to have it back?

Sessions together, are delivered at private woodland near Ripon or sessions can be held online, via zoom.
I also offer walk and talk coaching sessions from a range of public woodlands in Leeds.
Sessions last around 90 minutes, most people benefit from 1-6 sessions on average.
I offer packages for online and in nature.
As well as pay as you go and bespoke approaches.
Most people will have sessions every 2-4 weeks - everyone is different.
Coaching in Nature combines practical coaching and reflective activities and approaches. With time in and alongside nature, reaping the benefits of a calming and inspiring setting.
I help you to better understand yourself and your situation. Identify where you are and where you want to be in work, life and in your relationships with others. support you to set intentions and create changes that mean you reach your goals, change behaviours and create beliefs that support you to feel confident about life.
This includes helping with planning, options, beliefs, values, self-talk, emotional regulation and creating habits and actions.
I also understand that your life may be faced with challenges, unexpected changes and unknowns. So we ensure that you have a wide range of opportunities to deal with the rough and the smooth of life.
I work with people who see value in creating a life that also helps their well-being and happiness too.
The private woodland is abundant with wildlife from deer to stoat, birds of prey and woodpeckers.

Walk and Talk coaching sessions available at various public nature locations in Leeds
I am also qualified as advanced integral eye movement therapist and run sessions for clients who experience adult single trauma events.
