About me
Hello! I'm Jayne, thanks for stopping by.
I'm a Coach who specialises in working with individuals who are at a transitional point in their lives and looking to re-align to find balance, meaning and direction.
Are you?
- Feeling stressed, stuck or overwhelmed in your career/life/relationships and feel like you have made choices that no longer fit who you are now?
- Climbed the career ladder or finished Uni/Study and thinking what now?!
- Someone who pushes themselves, strives to please others and experiences stress, anxiety, low mood, burnout or chronic illness as a result?
- Struggling with a loss of purpose/direction and feeling low/ lonely, disillusioned or disconnected from the world?
- Childfree/Childless and feeling misunderstood, judged or invisible?
If you feel like something rings true for you, working with me will empower you to find the courage, self-compassion and strength to make change and get back on track wherever you are at.
So many of us feel like we need to be striving harder to keep up or get back 'to where we were' or 'get back to normal' particularly since the pandemic. The truth is, the world has changed and we are increasingly exposed to both global worries and pressures, combined with the need to survive on a day to day basis. This can leave us feeling out of control of our lives and in a perpetual state of confusion and exhaustion about who we are and want we want.
What is coaching?
Coaching is collaborative process which is generally present/ future focussed. It is about unlocking your strengths, abilities and potential to find ways to balance and re-align what is going on for you internally and how you are expressing this in the external world. Old or learnt patterns of relating to ourselves, others and our current situation can often keep us safe and protect us from our fear of change. Coaching offers a space for exploration and developing new insights so that you can get to work on setting intentions and goals that are more authentic and in alignment and with your own values to help you move forward.
What is a session like?
Our sessions will be led by you and will enable you to create opportunities to take positive action or a new life path with me alongside you. I don't coach problems- I coach people and my approach is holistic, working with both the mind and body. I won't tell you what to do or offer advice but I will work with you to find your own solutions to work through your current issues, blocks or barriers.
In a session we might focus on developing practical tools, setting mini-intentions/goals, get creative or explore more deeply what is holding you back. No two people are the same and my training is integrative which means that I use an approach to the work which fits your particular needs and circumstances, what you want to focus on and how you experience the world. A good coach will listen, gently challenge and ultimately cheerlead you. Investing in your growth is a hugely brave step as it can be challenging at times. However by working with a professional that you can trust, feel safe seen and heard by, coaching can be transformational. Together we can navigate the inevitable challenges of life and move forward with purpose.
I am currently undergoing further specialist coach training in Neurodiversity to ensure that I am further deepening my understanding and knowledge. I want to ensure that the space is inclusive, friendly, welcoming and takes into account your unique needs.
Next steps
I offer an initial short consultation (up to 30 mins). It is not a coaching session, it is chance for us to discuss further what you are looking for and whether I am the right fit for you.
