About me
Hello there, I'm Sam Hook and I'm a qualified coach and counsellor who can help you to get your confidence back and life on track in your business, at work, and in your personal life.
I offer 1-1 coaching sessions either in my coaching room in Gosforth or online and during our sessions, we will work together to gain clarity for your life, working out what it is you want, and reduce any negative beliefs or mental blocks that may be holding you back.
For those who run their own business, I offer business coaching to help you stay focused, increase motivation, and reduce overwhelm/burnout to grow your businesses.
I am also an Expert in Residence for the BIPC North East and fully funded coaching is currently available with me for business owners in Newcastle, Gateshead or Sunderland. I also run workshops across the region to help business owners gain confidence in themselves and their businesses.
Prior to becoming a coach, I ran a PR and marketing company for 18 years so can help business owners you promote their businesses through a range of marketing techniques from newsletters networking, social media, PR and advertising.
I am also a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor so use core skills in my coaching depending on what you need help with.

I am a qualified coach, NLP Practitioner and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Coaching accredited by the International Coaching Federation
- Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Level 5) and accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society
- Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner
- Diploma in PR and Marketing, accredited by the CIPR

My coaching room at Dobson House is located opposite the swimming pool in Gosforth. If you are travelling by public transport, this is a few minutes’ walk from Regent Centre Metro Station (turn right out of Metro station and turn first right past Regent Centre towards the swimming pool).
If you are driving, there is visitor car parking outside Dobson House. On Regent Farm Road as you pass the swimming pool on your left you will approach a roundabout, turn right and go down a small hill (you will see a sign for Omnia in front of you), turn right here and keep following the road around until you get to the front of Dobson House which is next to Arden’s Cafe. You will need to download the Pay by Phone app and pay this way. (NB the first hour is free).
