Training, qualifications & experience

  • Institute of Leaders and Management Effective Coaching and Mentoring.
  • BA Hons QTS
  • Member of the Association for Coaching

I take pride in myself that I have spent my working life investing time in others.  In my early 20’s, I changed career and became a teacher. I studied for a degree in dance and education, and worked in education from mainstream teaching to early years and supply teaching and voluntarily in local education groups. Thirty years later, I took the bold move to change careers becoming professionally qualified as a Coach.

Alongside mainstream teaching, I have been a dance and exercise teacher. Working with exercise, movement and dance organisations and governing bodies I have: taught, tutored, choreographed and mentored. I have also been a youth development officer.

How does my early career help me coach?

Ultimately, like dance, it is about communication, humankind, and an interest in your narrative. Management of time, space and free thought, improvisation and creativity are valuable skills that help during difficult times. Plus, I still get to care for, and further individuals’ lives.

Full testimonials are on my website:

Judy: Human Resources, Arts Sector. Focus: personal development.

Natalie worked with me as a personal development coach. We focussed on creating space for my priorities at work in a demanding environment and the impact of not achieving this. An external view was particularly helpful, along with Natalie's ability to summarise and feedback in a neutral way.

Elena :Focus: career and work-life balance.

My goal was to find a new strategy to go forward and refocus on my abilities...Natalie helped me to understand my strength better, and worked with me around my weakest parts which emphasised where I needed a change and how to work towards my goal. I met Natalie while being a full-time mum and trying to work around my career I needed someone to support me while having to make better choices...Natalie did her work beautifully, she was adaptable and easy to communicate with and her warm personality helped us to make a great relationship from the beginning.

Emma: Senior Communications Manager. Focus on Personal /life and confidence.

I felt at a crossroads when I originally approached Natalie…Natalie was extremely challenging, and made me think about things from different perspectives and consider how different life-changing options would play out. We had various thought-provoking sessions…having insight-based coaching sessions gave me the robust confidence I needed to readjust my mindset. I thoroughly enjoyed having different scenarios to consider during our sessions. Natalie challenged the perceptions and negative mind talk that had taken over me. I’m so pleased that Natalie encouraged me to think positively and build up my self-esteem.

Ben Focus: Project Manager - Asset Management. Focus on professional development.

My goal was to initiate a period of self-reflection relating to my work. The coaching has assisted me in the analysis of my working life. I Would recommend Natalie as a coach.

Laura: Entrepreneur Business Owner.

Natalie’s sessions were not only fluid and seamless but the biggest revelation of all…. Natalie showed me that all the answers are in fact within…I enjoyed the natural and fluid way the sessions rolled out whilst still obviously coming to the desired resolution. Natalie helped me confront and address the self-limiting beliefs I had placed upon myself.
