About us

Hello 😊

If you are reading this, chances are either you, or someone in your family, either has ADHD or is suspected of having ADHD.  So firstly, you are definitely in the right place!

I am Sarah and I have Combined ADHD.  Unfortunately nobody - including me - knew that till I was 51!  So I had five decades dealing with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder before I even knew it had a name.  This blew me away.  Suddenly my whole life made sense.  This is why I thought differently to other people, why I pushed boundaries, became  bored so quickly! The list went on...

By this time, I was already a fully qualified Life Coach, Counsellor and CBT Therapist with over 20 years experience in the helping professions.  I had started mentoring the homeless and ex-offenders in London and gone on to volunteer/work in the charity field including Crisis (where I was a Services Manager), The Big Issue, The London Connection, The Princes Trust and for the prison service with young offenders and adult male offenders.

When I knew I was ADHD though, I HAD to specialise in this field.  No therapist can possibly understand what an ADHD child, teenager or adult goes through like someone with ADHD themselves.  Not only was I ADHD, I was then subsequently diagnosed with severe dyspraxia, dyscalculia and sensory processing disorder - all in my 50’s!!

Now me and my ADHD team work solely with ADHD clients ranging in age from 5 to 70’s - I have gathered a fantastic team of other ADHD diagnosed specialists around me.  We have ADHD diagnosed Counsellors, Coaches and Therapists dotted all around the UK - there are over 75 of us … and we are growing.

We also offer a Child Pre-Assessment service if you are struggling to get your child’s school, GP or CAMHS to understand their ADHD.  We can help you get your child diagnosed.

I wrote a book to help parents of ADHD kids called ‘HOW NOT TO MURDER YOUR ADHD KID - INSTEAD LEARN TO BE YOUR CHILD’S OWN ADHD COACH’  You’ll find it on Amazon, eBay and can order it from book shops.  The reviews on Amazon will tell you how helpful it has proved to parents of ADHD kids 💜

We now have passionate and caring ADHD children, adolescent and adult ADHD Counsellors,  Business & Executive Coaches,  Addiction Therapists, Couples Counsellors, Nutritionists & Weight Loss Therapists, Mindfulness & Meditation,  NLP,  Personal Trainers, Gym Instructors + and are passionate about providing as many support therapies and services as we possibly can for ADHD children and adults.

We are also very passionate about keeping ADHD teenagers and young adults away from the criminal justice system. We work with our own ADHD-aware solicitors and barristers so if you or someone in your family is in trouble with the law, please contact us.

Email us here and we will very happily help you or your family or jump onto the website as all our services are on there and you can book direct via the website. www.HeadstuffADHDTherapy.Co.UK.

Every therapist at HEADSTUFF ADHD THERAPY is passionate about ADHD and we very much look forward to helping you.

Further information

We are determined to get the laws changed around testing young people for ADHD when they first find themselves in a police station - and teenagers and young adults when they first go into prison.

We strongly believe that anybody committing petty crime at a young age should be tested for ADHD.

Our charity ADHD LIBERTY can help ADHD people who find themselves in trouble with the law.

Find out how we can help your child, family member or you if you become involved in any sort of legal difficulties due to undiagnosed or diagnosed ADHD on our website www.HeadstuffADHDLiberty.Co.UK
