About me

Hi welcome to my page,
I love Life Coaching and I am passionate about self-awareness and personal growth.
My expertise is in relationships, self-care and work/life balance. I have a particular interest in the relationship you have with yourself, what your passion is and whether you are living your life in line with your values.

A taster session in laughter yoga, which led to a meeting with one significant person inspired my interest in Positive Psychology and to study it at Masters level. Positive psychology is the study of happiness, well-being and flourishing. Learning more about positive psychology has increased my levels of positive emotion, joy, awe, and happiness and I have a sharper awareness of my own strengths. I have also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of connection and community.

I have designed a programme of positive psychology education and interventions which I use in my coaching practice and I share in my local community. Instar Coaching C.I.C. aims to use knowledge and skills of positive psychology to bring more positive emotion and less isolation to communities. I provide joyful activities, education workshops, walking in nature and group laughter sessions to promote a flourishing life.

I would love to share what I have learnt about positive psychology with you on my Positive Psychology for Life courses where we explore topics such as positive emotion, strengths, resilience & self- compassion.

I have joined together my knowledge of positive psychology and meditation to create Positive Psychology and Mediatation courses.  These are available as one off sessions. 4 week and 6 week courses. Please see my website for more details. 

Laughter sessions are an opportunity to play, be a child again and promote health and well-being. Short exercises encourage forced laughter which quickly turns into spontaneous laughter.
