Oh, hi there.
Thanks for stopping by on this page – my name is Oli Anderson and I’m a coach, author, and yoga teacher who believes (and has seen many times now) that the most direct way to start healing our lives is to treat the mind-body as one system and to start to cultivate unconditional self-acceptance.
When we treat the mind-body as one system then it gives us a number of powerful options for BUILDING FLOW in our lives and becoming unstuck:
-We can explore our thoughts and to start teaching ourselves to discern the REAL from unreal. This allows us to start taking action that’s an expression of who we really are instead of who we ‘think’ or have been told we ‘should’ be.
-We can start to explore how our body is holding on to the unresolved emotional ‘stuff’ that leads to many of these unreal thoughts (and the identity stemming from them) so that we can start to free ourselves from dissociation and enmeshment that keeps us in ‘survival mode’ instead of living our REAL lives.
Focusing on both of these levels and taking focused, disciplined, and consistent action to let go of the survival patterns and ‘software’ that no longer serves you will transform your life.
You can make sure that you’re not sabotaging yourself because of your hidden patterns and that you take conscious control of your own life by putting yourself in the driving seat.

My coaching is a ‘No BS’ but compassionate approach to helping you guide yourself back into a real relationship with yourself, the world, and reality so that you can stop hesitating and holding back and build the flow, buzz, and momentum that comes from releasing what you don’t need and integrating what’s true about you.
I use a combination of traditional coaching methods and techniques, somatic work and nervous system regulation (when necessary), practical philosophy (all pointing back to the idea that “REAL ALWAYS WORKS” in all areas of life), and experience in mental health and trauma to help you get where you need and want to be in a supportive and safe way.
I also draw from my books around this kind of thing (mainly ‘realness’ and shadow work), yoga philosophy, interventions like NLP and a lot of relevant life experience from my own journey.
We will go as deep as you need to go to get you further than you even imagine is possible.
(I can say this because as you get a few weeks into our coaching container you’ll start to see that so much more is possible for you than you might think right now).
By going through a process of raising AWARENESS, cultivating ACCEPTANCE, and then taking ACTION we can ensure that you put yourself on a path that you really want to be on and where you’re letting go of the past, feeling the buzz of the present, and shifting into a future that we’re excited about.

I find that I get the best results from people that are driven but need a little clarity or want to figure out and push through to the next level of themselves and their lives. They may also have reached a point where they believe that “enough is enough” and that they’ve reached the end of the line with a current version of themselves and the associated beliefs and behaviours, so they’re ready to do whatever it takes to make a change.
When people are truly committed in this way, it brings out the best in me too and the energy is AMAZING.
The biggest barriers that people face in my experience are underlying SHAME and trauma (most often shame – the most common problem in the world, in my opinion) – that has caused them to ‘freeze’ up in survival mode and that has caused them to disown very real or important parts of themselves (goals, values, qualities, dreams, etc.) in order to stay frozen and stop facing what they need to face to free themselves.
This causes them to create a sense of IDENTITY based on what they’ve disowned, rather than who they are in their realness – what they need to start doing is rebuilding in a real way.
Very often, these people have been quite successful by conventional standards and have managed to attain their goals in one area of their lives (normally business or career) but this has been a distraction from other areas of their lives (especially their ‘inner world’) and so they have a restless feeling or an itch that can’t be scratched that follows them around no matter what they do.
In other words, they’ve become DISCONNECTED from their real selves and they need to find a way back home (which is where Awareness, Acceptance, and Action come in again).
Working with me: A transformative 4-month journey toward real change and self-acceptance
1. 8 coaching Sessions over a period of about four months (on average – one every other week). These Sessions are about exploring how to heal this disconnection and then how to start ACTING to start reconnecting and undoing the mind-body fragmentation that has arisen from this.
Every Session is different for every client but it ultimately involves going as deep as we need to go into your beliefs and your vision and seeing what’s keeping you from moving in a way that feels real.
2. Accountability in-between Sessions for the duration of the coaching container. For most clients, this involves checking in (on WhatsApp or email etc.) every day from Monday to Friday (with time to reflect and process on weekends though some clients require weekend check-ins too).
The point here is to keep exploring the themes that came up in the Sessions in real time but also to ensure that actions are taken – because action is the only thing that changes anything – and that any obstacles or challenges are used as springboards instead of impediments so everything keeps flowing.
3. Dedicated tools and exercises to ensure that the coaching container helps you to really implement what you’ve been exploring in Sessions but also so that you get a psychoeducation that serves you for the rest of your life.
In short, what I offer is a dedicated four month block of time for you to work on getting where you want to be and giving you the space, energy, and support to make it happen (and if you’re not there in the four months we’ll add a few extra Sessions until you do reach your agreed goal)!

Training, qualifications & experience
I have a diploma in Personal Performance Coaching and combine my learning here with my experience working in mental health (certificates in both counselling skills and also with people that hear voices and have problems caused by dissociative disorders).
I'm also the author of a number of books on personal development and practical philosophy (I have a 1st class BSc degree) and use the ideas and philosophies in these books to help my clients to figure out what they really value and what they really want.
Along with life coaching, I also work with creative business owners and leaders to help figure out ways to make their work projects more fulfilling and to understand and improve the value they're offering to their own clients.
A lot of my work in this area is inspired by my experience working in service design in both the public and private sector in both the UK and Europe.
I'm also a trained facilitator which helps with any group coaching that I do (though, tbh, I mainly do and prefer one-on-one coaching).
Finally, a lot of my coaching work is informed by my personal experiences - in particular living through adversity, overcoming depression and anxiety, achieving my goals creatively and professionally, and doing work on myself to take the journey from being unreal to real.

Additional information
I only work with people on a package basis as mentioned above (8 sessions over four months is standard).
I like to do at least one discovery session beforehand to make sure that I can actually help the client with their goals and that they're ready to be coached.
My main goal as a coach is to work with people whose transformation I can assist with and so that's what I'm interested in finding out in the early stages.
Ultimately, this first (free) session will be about looking at where you are now, where you want to go, what's holding you back, and who you need to work on BECOMING to get there.
These initial sessions are definitely worth trying if you're interested in being coached by me and offer a lot of value in themselves.
