About me

Ready to take back control of your life?

Are you sick and tired of being stuck in the same unhealthy patterns and behaviours, such as addictions, toxic relationships, disordered eating and drinking? I am Kate, a certified coach who helps women move forward from their past and realise their full potential.

Do you feel disconnected from yourself and have a lack of purpose which is affecting your mental health and sucking the joy out of your life?

There is another way.

Many of the limitations that we have come from our life experiences, they keep us small and take away our power, while our patterns and behaviours keep us safe by repeating themselves.

These experiences create trauma. Trauma of any kind can cause us to believe that we are not worthy of love, so we spend our lives trying to validate that we are. We look for that validation in the wrong places, putting everyone in front of ourselves and settling for less. We feel stuck and powerless to create change and the life, relationships, and joy we deserve. Sound familiar?

Trauma is a buzzword at the moment, but the reality is that however big or small the trauma is, it shapes our perception of ourselves and our reality and, therefore, creates it.

Trauma affects 95% of people, regardless of upbringing. Ranging from significant big 'T' traumas like sexual abuse or PTSD to smaller 't' traumas, where emotional needs weren't met during stressful times. Both can profoundly impact our emotional and psychological well-being, program our relationships and create a disconnection from ourselves, our body, our feelings and how we value ourselves.

We can change this.

By understanding the imprint of trauma and how it has shaped you and your life, we can rebuild your self-trust, resilience, self-acceptance/compassion, and, most importantly, your lust for life. You don’t have to prescribe to others' expectations of success and happiness.

I am Kate, a trauma and sexual abuse coach who helps women move forward from their past and realise their full potential.

Throughout my life, I have suffered with my mental health, addictions, sexual trauma, eating disorders, toxic relationships, and emotional dysregulation. I have been diagnosed and misdiagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, neurodivergence, c-PTSD, PTSD, clinical depression and high-functioning anxiety. Until I realised through therapy, coaching and education that it all stemmed from trauma. So, I have now made it my life’s purpose to help others heal and realise their full potential whilst reducing the shame and stigma associated with trauma and sexual abuse.

As an ICF-certified coach, my coaching methodology is firmly rooted in evidence-based techniques and principles. I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, addiction awareness, Internal Family Systems, and goal-setting strategies. I meld this foundation with Compassionate Inquiry and attentive listening, ensuring a holistic approach tailored specifically to your needs and objectives.

Healing any form of trauma requires immense courage, and my role is to facilitate a process where you feel acknowledged, understood, and appreciated for the remarkable person you are.

Testimonials

"I am writing this testimonial to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support and guidance I received from Kate during one of the most challenging periods of my life – the aftermath of a divorce marked by narcissistic abuse. As a woman navigating the complexities of single motherhood to my precious daughter, I found an unwavering ally in Kate who played an instrumental role in my healing process.

From our very first session, it was evident that she possessed a unique ability to be fully present with me. In the midst of the emotional turbulence that accompanies divorce, especially from a narcissistic partner, her skill in holding space created a safe haven where I could freely explore my feelings and vulnerabilities. This empathetic approach, coupled with genuine compassion, provided me with the comfort I desperately needed during a time of profound emotional upheaval.

What truly sets Kate apart is their commitment to equipping me with practical tools to navigate the journey of recovery. She tailored her guidance to suit my individual needs, offering strategies and coping mechanisms that were both accessible and effective. These tools became invaluable anchors, helping me regain a sense of control over my life and emotions. I no longer felt overwhelmed by the trauma; instead, I developed a growing sense of resilience.

One area where Kate’s expertise truly shone was in helping me redirect my focus towards the future. With a keen understanding of my aspirations, especially in terms of my business plans, she skillfully assisted me in crafting a vision beyond the pain of the past. Together, we charted a course for personal and professional growth, providing me with a roadmap for rebuilding my life on my own terms. Her ability to intertwine the emotional and practical aspects of recovery was a beacon of hope in what initially felt like an insurmountable darkness.

In the realm of trauma recovery, finding a coach who is not only knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate is a rare gift. I am immensely thankful for the pivotal role she played in my journey towards healing and empowerment. To anyone navigating the aftermath of narcissistic abuse and divorce, I wholeheartedly recommend seeking the support of a trauma recovery coach like Kate– someone who will stand by you, understand your unique challenges, and guide you towards a brighter, more resilient future."

Olivia

"Kate is a delightful company to be with during a coaching session. As for me being an HSP person, I definitely consider her pace, calmness and her good time management the safest place to be.

Because of her background as a Trauma-informed Coach, Kate is skilled with different tools that support me with the awareness of my body's response towards my fear and insecurity anchored in events from the past.

With her full presence and space holding, I’ve always left after a session with the feeling that there was nothing wrong with me, that I could simply trust in my process and the right decisions would come!"

Milena

"If you are seeking a life coach who possesses exceptional empathy, wisdom, and expertise in trauma recovery, I wholeheartedly recommend Kate. Her ability to create a safe space for healing and her arsenal of effective tools will undoubtedly guide you towards a brighter, more empowered future. I am eternally grateful for the transformative impact Kate has had on my life."

Caroline

"Thanks to Kate's unwavering support and transformative coaching, I have made significant progress in my journey of healing. I have gained a newfound sense of self-worth, self-acceptance, and optimism for the future. Kate's compassionate guidance has helped me rewrite my narrative, enabling me to live a more fulfilling and authentic life."

Maddie

"I recently started a new business and was feeling overwhelmed trying to juggle work/life balance whilst being a parent to a toddler. My biggest issue was my negative attitude towards myself and the ability to focus while managing my time efficiently.   Kate really helped with these factors as I was set tasks which would enable me to overcome specific situations that I didn’t want to face, but were essential for my business. She kept me accountable at all times and I always felt great after my session with her.   Without her, I’d still be giving myself a hard time and in a rut of my never ending unfinished to-do lists. I’d highly recommend Kate and have felt that I’ve learnt so much about myself too."

Tash

"Kate has been an absolute godsend in my life, just when I needed it. She has been extremely patient and caring about all the traumas from my past that I desperately needed to release.

Kate always gave me space to talk, and then gave insightful advice about the feelings and memories I was expressing.

She has really taken the time to remember all that I have said from session to session, so she can help piece together the jigsaw of my experiences, to give edifying and uplifting feedback.

Thank you Kate for allowing me to see the nastiness I’ve gone through and the lack of kindness I’ve given to myself.

You’ve made me feel human and loveable again."
