Holistic Life Coach & Author

About me

Are you ready to explore what’s holding you back from truly enjoying life?

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, anger, sadness, grief, or loneliness — or simply seeking guidance to move forward — I’m here to help. Together, we’ll build understanding, confidence, and practical tools to move ahead with clarity and strength.

I work with both men and women in a supportive, relaxed environment where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings, and goals. Each session is your space to reflect, express, and grow.

I believe in working closely with each individual, recognising that no two paths are the same. Whether you want to build confidence, overcome anxiety, find purpose, manage anger, pursue a new relationship, or explore a career change, we’ll tailor your sessions to support your personal goals.

My focus is on helping you understand that you are your priority. When you take charge of your happiness, life becomes clearer — and the challenges around you feel more manageable.

Our sessions will explore your life and the deeper patterns or fears that may be holding you back. I also keep a reflective journal of our work together, giving you a tangible way to track your progress over time.

As a Holistic Life Coach, I take into account your emotional, physical, and overall well-being. My approach is about supporting the whole person, not just the issue at hand — because lasting change comes from within.

A Little About My Journey
My passion for helping others was shaped by real-life experiences — not theory alone.

From childhood trauma and the grief of losing my first child at birth, to caring for a loved one with Stage 4 cancer, navigating painful family fallouts, and ultimately facing my own life-altering diagnosis of leukaemia in 2009 — I’ve lived through some of life’s deepest emotional challenges.

At the time of my diagnosis, I had young children who needed me, and I knew I had to fight not only for them but for myself. That experience reshaped my entire outlook on life.

I had already begun training toward a BACP counselling qualification, but after my illness, counselling no longer felt like the right fit. I needed something that focused on healing and growth — something forward-looking. That’s when I discovered Life Coaching.

The coaching approach resonated deeply with me: We may not be able to change the past, but we can shape a new future. I began working with a Life Coach myself, and through that experience, I reconnected with my inner strength and started rebuilding my life.

I also learned that happiness is an inside job. Even after decades of marriage, I came to understand that my husband could not be the source of my happiness — only I could take ownership of that. That insight changed everything.

Now, I bring those lessons, that compassion, and a deep sense of empathy into every coaching relationship. I know what it feels like to be lost, hurting, and searching for hope. And I know it’s possible to find joy and purpose again — no matter where you’re starting from.

Further information

As someone who has been through real-life experiences, including childhood trauma, nursing someone with Stage 4 Cancer, family fallouts, loss of my first child at birth, and then having the devastating news that I had leukaemia in 2009, I feel I offer deep empathy to my clients through these experiences,  as I understand that these traumas can affect lives in so many different ways.

As someone who has faced significant life experiences — from childhood trauma, caring for a loved one with Stage 4 cancer, and navigating painful family fallouts, to the heartbreak of losing my first child at birth and being diagnosed with leukaemia in 2009 — I bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding to my work. I know firsthand how trauma can shape our lives in profound and lasting ways.

My decision to become a Life Coach came a few years after my diagnosis. Before then, I was training towards a BACP Counselling qualification. However, after my diagnosis, counselling no longer resonated with me in the same way. I found myself searching for therapies that would not only support my healing but also empower me to move forward in life with hope and purpose.

That search led me to Life Coaching. The focus on working from the present toward a better future deeply appealed to me. While we can’t change the past, we can shape the path ahead — and that perspective gave me strength.

My approach is holistic. I don’t just look at the specific challenges you’re facing today — I consider you as a whole person, within the context of your life. I believe this leads to more profound, lasting change.
