Psychologist & Coach: Assertiveness & Boundary Setting

About me

Thank you for visiting my profile. I have outlined information below about my coaching offer and what you can expect if we work together. Please do get in touch if you would like more information or to book a free discovery call over Zoom.

Overview

I work with early to mid-career professionals, sole traders, small business owners and leaders who are seeking to successfully navigate workplace challenges especially around navigating conflict, being more assertive and boundary setting.

You are likely to be open-minded and ready to work on yourself. You want to be challenged in a safe and supportive way, and to explore what is going on beneath the surface. You want to take back your power and reclaim responsibility over your life.

You may be working in the following areas:

  • Becoming more confident and assertive
  • Boundary setting
  • Dealing with a challenging relationship
  • Navigating conflict at work
  • Overcoming workplace anxiety
  • Moving through a career transition

What you can expect if we work together:

We will first seek to understand what it is you would like to change (your intentions), then identify what it is that is getting in way (the obstacles). From here we can create a plan for you to take positive action to achieve your goals.

We will work together in partnership to find the approach that fits you best. This could include:

  • Cognitive-behavioural: Working with your thoughts and cognitions and exploring helpful or unhelpful mind habits and thought patterns.
  • Visualisation practices: Accessing your visual creativity allows you to imagine the life you want to lead and is a  powerful tool for transformation.
  • Somatic/body methods: Often you may feel your intuitions and gut instincts in the body, and accessing this can provide invaluable information for how to move forward.
  • Time-line techniques: Revisiting experiences from the past can be helpful to bring awareness and compassion to these moments, and complete what was left unresolved. We can also use time-line methods to build clarity around the future you want to create.

In all of our work, you can expect a non-judgemental and confidential space to safely explore what was previously unspoken and find practical tools for positive, forward momentum.

I find that committing to work together for a minimum of 6 sessions provides the most effective experience, as it provides opportunity to dive more deeply into your intentions and find creative resolutions.

My background as a Coach

I am an accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching, and have coached hundreds of workplace professionals on a variety of themes from building a business, becoming more confident and boundary setting. I am also an experienced Business Psychologist with graduate membership of the British Psychological Society and additional accreditation as a Principal Practitioner with the Association of Business Psychology.

In 2019, I qualified as an interpersonal workplace mediator which has enabled me to develop insight and skills in conflict resolution, and in the summer of 2026 I will complete a 2 year (400 teaching hours) breathwork diploma which has enabled me to work in a trauma-informed way and understand nervous system regulation.

I am interested to work with anyone who is seeking to find creative solutions to workplace challenges and have a particular interest in supporting people to build skills in confidence and assertiveness.

I provide a safe, non-judgemental and psychologically informed space where you can explore your experience and find practical solutions to take positive and life-affirming action. I offer a mixture of approaches including cognitive-behavioural, NLP and somatic/body work.

I have been on my own journey of personal growth, and have lived experience of how positive transformation can occur.

I offer a 6-session package as well as stand alone options.
