About me

I specialise in coaching for mental and emotional wellness having developed a unique approach based on my expertise as a life coach, health coach and therapeutic counsellor. All these strands have been brought together into 'Mood Coaching'.

For many years I kept my counselling and health coaching practice as two different strands - supporting clients with their mental / emotional health through counselling, and helping clients with nutrition and lifestyle change to improve their health through health coaching. But increasingly I saw the crossover between the two. Clients who improved their health, improved their mood, and for those counselling clients who were interested, when they changed their diets, improved nutrition and attended to gut health, their mental health improved tremendously. It did not make sense any longer to separate the two. And so Mood Coaching was born.

I believe that our lifestyle habits are keys to unlocking wellbeing on every level. I have identified nine lifestyle areas that not only cause imbalance but provide solutions. I call this The Good Mood Circle. This circle forms the basis for my one to one coaching programme. They include: Nutrition, Digestion, Mindset, Movement, Connection, Meaning, Sleep, Self-Care. Each of these areas is addressed with more emphasis on those that will help you achieve your individual goals. These areas described in more detail on my website.

I know of no-one else offering such a holistic, skilled and joined up approach to overall wellness.

Behaviour change is a skill to be learned - it is not about will power or motivation or big goals. It has to be easy and enjoyable - a step by step process - and having someone like me who is skilled in the art of change, totally on your side, cheering you on, can bring about miraculous change. Please look at my website, find out more about me and my work - and do not hesitate to make contact.
