About me

I am an experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, neurodiversity coach, and business coach based in Oxfordshire. I work through my practice, Empowered Coaching. My work is grounded in professional training and lived experience, which lets me offer a genuinely empathetic approach.

I support adults, including those who are neurodivergent or navigating complex personal and professional challenges. I have run a private practice for several years, work with Enterprise Oxfordshire as a business mentor, and have contributed to published works in my field.

My qualifications include a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, with further training in coaching, neurodiversity, and business mentoring. As someone with ADHD myself, I bring real understanding and practical insight to my work.

My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I help clients build resilience, reach their goals, and thrive in their personal lives, education, or careers.

I work with individuals one to one, and with startups and SMEs adapting to a neurodiverse workforce. Whether you are self-employed, leading a team, or simply want support for yourself, I am here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Book a free 30-minute consultation to explore how we might work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I combine extensive professional training with years of practical experience and lived insight.

My core qualification is a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. Alongside this I hold advanced diplomas in counselling, life coaching, business coaching, addiction therapy, and neurodiversity support.

My further training includes Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), ADHD clinical services, drug and alcohol counselling, therapeutic care farming, walking therapy, safeguarding, and workplace first aid.

Beyond my formal training, I have run a private practice for several years, work with Enterprise Oxfordshire as a business mentor, and have contributed to published works in my field. My own experience of ADHD sharpens my practical, empathetic approach and lets me offer genuinely tailored support to individuals, teams, and organisations.

Areas of coaching I deal with

Other areas of coaching I deal with

I offer specialist coaching and support across a range of areas, drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience. My services extend beyond traditional life coaching to include:

  • ADHD and neurodiversity support: Tailored guidance for ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other neurodivergent profiles, helping individuals and families understand, manage, and thrive with neurodiversity.
  • Emotional regulation and impulse work: Practical tools for managing overwhelm, impulsivity, and the patterns that keep people stuck, including support around addiction and compulsive behaviours.
  • Burnout and recovery: Support to understand burnout, rebuild energy, and work with your nervous system rather than against it.
  • Personal and professional development: Coaching for confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and goal-setting, supporting growth in both personal and work life.
  • Workplace and business coaching: Practical strategies for professionals, entrepreneurs, and teams, including Access to Work and employer-funded sessions, to foster neuroinclusion, productivity, and wellbeing.
  • Neuroinclusion training and consultancy: Bespoke workshops and consultancy for organisations, teams, and managers, including large-site delivery, to create supportive, inclusive environments for neurodivergent staff.
  • Walking and outdoor sessions: Coaching that takes place outdoors where it suits you, using movement and nature to support focus and reflection.
Therapeutic care farm sessions: Animal-assisted coaching at my CEVAS-accredited care farm, offering a calm, grounding setting for those who benefit from it.
  • Diagnosis and advocacy: Support through diagnosis, self-advocacy, and building on individual strengths.

All support is tailored to your needs, whether you come to me as an individual, family member, student, or organisation.

Further information

I offer both online and in-person sessions, so you can access support in the way that suits you best. In-person work takes place in Oxfordshire, and online sessions are available wherever you are based.

How I work

Sessions are collaborative, paced to suit you, and tailored to how your brain works. I draw on counselling, coaching, and lived experience of ADHD, so the support is practical as well as understanding. Some clients prefer walking sessions outdoors, and these can be arranged where suitable.

Access to Work

I accept Access to Work funded clients. If you have a grant that covers coaching or workplace strategy support, get in touch and I will talk you through how the sessions and invoicing work.

Training and delivery

  • I deliver training in all the methods I use, either remotely or face to face, to suit your organisation.
  • I can help you build and develop your own training programmes, particularly for staff in advisory or support roles.
  • Training can be tailored to your team, with group workshops, ongoing consultancy, and practical skill-building.

Retainers and ongoing support

  • I offer retainer agreements for organisations or individuals who want ongoing, flexible support.
  • Packages are built around your needs, whether that is regular coaching, ad-hoc advice, or strategic input.
  • If I am not the right fit, I have a trusted network of professionals and can point you to someone who can help.

If any of this is useful to you, get in touch and we will shape something around your goals.
