As a Life Coach I would like to support you to live life to your fullest potential despite the uncertain times we live in.
I work with women and young people and help to deal with stress and anxiety as well as encourage confidence to take the next steps. I will work with you to improve your self esteem and this can help to give you direction to achieve a better work/life balance.
By sharing tools and techniques and rediscovering your strengths and passions, we will focus on getting control of your anxiety rather than anxiety being in control of you.
The areas that I am particularly effective in are:
- Reducing anxiety and stress
- Increasing your confidence and getting you re-motivated.
- Work/life balance
- Shifting your mindset
- Improving your self esteem
- Giving you courage and clarity to take the next steps
- Keeping you focussed on what’s important and putting structure back where needed
- Boosting your personal development and overall wellbeing
- Parenting and helping to make time for yourself
I use a range of techniques and exercises based on positive psychology and NLP that help you understand how your life is shaped by your beliefs about yourself and the lens through which you view the world. The aim being for you to be able to free yourself from the negative aspects that hold you back.
I also use Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC). The techniques used are effective in helping you identify and challenge thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are self-defeating. CBC is a powerful model that draws on evidence-based psychological models. All my coaching is primarily forward-looking and the focus of CBC only explores your past history if that is relevant.
My coaching style has been described as friendly, honest, caring, intuitive, challenging, practical and dedicated with a touch of humour!. Traits that really help my clients to transform themselves.

How I work
The first session is a complimentary coaching consultation and can last up to half an hour. In this initial contact we can discuss your situation, what would be the best ongoing help for you and what working together will look like.
We discuss what will best meet your needs taking account of:
- How you prefer to work. This can be face-to-face near Warminster, Wiltshire, or via phone, Zoom or a combination. I also offer 1:1 walking coaching in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
- Timescale. We can aim to achieve your objectives as quickly as possible through weekly meetings or you may prefer to meet less frequently and spread the work over 3-6 months.
I recommend a minimum of three sessions, this is an introduction to coaching and how it can help you to get really clear on what you want from life, what's getting in the way, and how you can overcome those barriers to create a lifestyle that works best for you.
Six sessions enable us to explore your goals and challenges, acknowledge your values, look into what might be holding you back (Limiting Beliefs) and how you can make lasting changes to your lifestyle, thinking or behaviour, in one or more specific areas of your life.
I live on a small farm in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside. I am married, in my early 50's, have a Christian faith and have four children. I originally trained and worked in London as a Montessori teacher, during my teaching career I thoroughly enjoyed working with the children and helping them to develop and become more creative, confident and independent.
More recently, I have been active in the charity CAP (Christians Against Poverty) visiting people who, often for no fault of their own (illness and unforeseen circumstances) found themselves in debt and need of support. This was an outworking of my inbuilt desire to come alongside people.
Realising that many of my peers, and their children, were also struggling with adjusting to a “new normal” be it from becoming parents, going back to work, empty nesting, approaching the menopause or leaving full-time education, I felt I would be well placed to help them as a trained life coach.

'The most important gain for me was looking at my achievements and seeing them as successes rather than focusing on what I have not achieved. I would definitely contact you again if I needed coaching in other areas of my life, as after every session my mind felt clearer. I liked the questions you asked me as it made me really have to think deep for the answer.' Jay, London
'I feel much more confident in my life direction/sense of purpose and I also have a greater sense of acceptance of my present situation, I feel more content that what I'm doing is serving me well for the future.' 'I would recommend working with Caroline to anyone who feels a bit 'stuck' in any area of their lives. She listens carefully and in a completely non-judgemental way and I felt like she really understood my frustrations and helped me to find realistic solutions to these.' Emma, London,
'I loved being coached by Caroline she has a way about her that made me feel safe she is very warm and has a calming influence. She asked me powerful questions that made me think and opened up a lot of possibilities and a lot of hope too for the future.' Sandra, Dublin, Ireland
'I would highly recommend life coaching sessions with Caroline, she is very friendly and approachable and she really helped me in my journey to becoming a more positive person.' E, Dublin, Ireland
'Caroline brings a sense of warmth good humour and professionalism to her work. I felt like it was an illuminating and professionally facilitated experienced. Her warmth and good humour brought much to the sessions and the process delivered much more than I could have imagined. Thank you, Caroline!' Emma, Wiltshire, England
'I felt so safe, and I could be vulnerable, honest and open about everything and anything. I looked forward to each session and I got so much off my chest. I learnt a lot about myself and left the sessions feeling confident in myself and hopeful for my future.' Olivia, Dorset, England
I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Caroline. Caroline is very calm and talks through areas in very fine detail which makes you see a bigger picture. When I begun my journey with her I was very anxious and didn’t have the confidence to leave the house with my children by myself.
My biggest challenge overall was taking my children out to the park and the local shop by myself but I managed to achieve this by pushing the negative thoughts out of my head and feel grateful of the things I have around me. To use gratitude first thing in the morning and when I am having a low moment.
I have started this year really wanting to combat this anxiety I have and alongside Caroline I think I have managed to keep it at bay with her help and tips. Caroline goes in to everything deeply and observes how you react and speak to know what reactions you give out. I highly recommend Caroline if you need some guidance to combat anxiety and have a helping hand along your journey :). J. Salisbury, Wilts
