About me

Hello, My name is Renata Taylor-Byrne and I am a professional coach.  I have a degree in psychology and a diploma in life coaching; plus diplomas in stress management, nutrition, CBT and REBT, TA 101.

My specialism is Lifestyle Coaching. I help individuals to review their self-management approach to life, including their diet, exercise program, sleep, relaxation strategies, stress management approaches, self-esteem, relationship skills, plus personal and professional goal setting and goal achievement.

I have been coaching and mentoring individuals for many years now. Before joining ABC Coaching and Counselling Services, five years ago, I used my coaching and counselling skills with students and staff for over 30 years, at a further education college, and I enjoy using my skills to help people overcome the challenges that they experience as they work towards their goals.

In the 1990s, influenced strongly by Dale Carnegie, Albert Ellis and Werner Erhard, I created an assertiveness and confidence-building course which promoted people’s development through the growth of their public-speaking skills.

Here are some of the things that I can offer you:

First: Problem-solving models that you can use for the rest of your life, at home and at work; including interpersonal communications skills; and career building skills;

Second: Assertiveness strategies that will make your life easier;

Third: I show you how you can control your stress levels:

Fourth: I show you how you can change an unwanted habit or create a new one:

Fifth: You can learn to control your bad inner critic with my help:

Sixth: I also help people to work on improving their sleep patterns; diet and nutrition; and their approach to physical exercise and relaxation.

Seventh, and perhaps most importantly, I offer a very supportive, healing and growth-oriented relationship in which you can maximize your personal potential and growth.
