Who am I?
Hello, I'm David Wise, Leadership Performance Coach.
Supporting You
For the last 4 years I have been working with CEOs, Exec Heads and Head-Teachers of schools transitioning into Multi-Academy Trusts, to step away from the operational day to day activity and become more strategic in their approach, to build trust and delegate more effectively to their team, so that as Leaders they can have more Impact and Influence and their team becomes more high-performing.
If you're a Senior Leader in any organisation, it can be tough to let go of the Operational - either you feel guilty about giving more work to your team, or perhaps that you can do it better/quicker yourself.
The truth is you know this is not sustainable - to grow your team and free up your own time to focus strategically on your organisation/team future, something needs to change - starting with your own mindset and approach.
To lead others effectively, you must first lead yourself.
Let's talk - I'll support you in gaining Clarity and a 1-Page Plan for your best year yet as a Leader, then work with you over 12 months to achieve your journey of transformation. Your results will be visible through the Curve methodolgy/platform. And you'll earn 25 CPD points on completion.

To support individuals and teams become more effective by focusing on strengths for maximum Impact, I offer GC-Index profiling. To improve Influence and team communication, I offer DISC personality profiling. These are powerful tools to help you and your team, that can then inform your your One-Page Plan to success - ask me for more information.
What’s important to me?
I’ve always enjoyed helping people and see it as one of my key strengths. Whether coaching, knowledge-sharing, team-leading, training, workshop facilitating or just providing another point of contact, to help people move forwards.
Wisdom - With a passion for learning, I love to share what I’ve learnt and find the most appropriate blend of techniques and relevant information to give best value for my clients.
Teamwork - I love the synergy of working with others (either one to one or leading groups in workshops). Finding different ways to be curious and explore and enjoy the challenges that I will help you work through, while focusing on delivering the right outcome for each session.
Fun - When we're working together, I want us to have FUN! People make much better progress when they're enjoying themselves.
Training, qualifications & experience
Since April 2025, I have been a New Level Results (NLR) Associate Coach, accredited to work with Individual Leaders and Teams, to gain Clarity and create a One-Page Plan for their Best Year ever, and then coach together over 12 monthly sessions to achieve transformational results, with demonstrable results visible through our coaching platform (the Curve). Able to provide 25 (for individuals) and 37 (for team members) CPD points on completion of coaching together. (Ask me for a demo!)
As an accredited GC-Ologist, I support individuals and teams understand their GC-Index profiles for maximising energy for Impact (renewed in Jan 2026).
In 2023 I gained my certification as a DISC Practitioner, to help individuals understand how to improve their communication styles to have more Influence.
In 2017, I qualified as Master Coach/Practitioner of NLP, Timeline Therapy(TM) and Hypnosis, having trained with the awesome David Shephard and team at The Performance Partnership.
I gained my Personal Performance Coaching Diploma with The Coaching Academy in 2016 and am also licensed to run workshops in "The 7 steps of Coaching".
In 2011, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP Coaching with 'Motivation Training', and I hold GQHP registration with the General Hypnotherapy Register.
From my previous days in the Corporate world, I held Project Management (PRINCE2 and APMP) and Continuous Improvement (LEAN 1C) qualifications, which I'm happy to utilize with my Business clients, supporting their business planning and culture change.

My background
Prior to my Coaching career, I worked for 30+ years in Corporate IT world in various project-management, transformational, LEAN process-improvement, IT technical and team leadership roles. I took voluntary redundancy in 2011 after 23 years in one organisation, to start my transition to being a Coach.
What I have found in my transition from project-management into Coaching is that although the terminology may be different, there is a lot of overlap in the two disciplines: having a clear outcome focus and a plan, managing obstacles/risks, having clear signs/milestones to recognise and celebrate progress, etc.
From being the leader/facilitator who shaped and led the project, to now supporting my clients shape their own “project” and achieve them through effective coaching – that’s why I’m loving it so much!
All work, no play…
Outside of work, I am happily married to Suzie and we live in Purbeck, on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. We have two adult sons Matt and Jonny who are now following their own paths. We both like walking, and I especially love doing long-distance hiking and wild-camping, to spend time out in nature and listen to my audiobooks and music.
As well as Coaching, I work part-time for a local charity, managing the centre, which offers introductory stone-carving courses to the public.
And now, I have my own weekly radio show once a week on Purbeck Sounds (internet) radio, called Purbeck Wanders (Tuesdays 1-2pm) - talking with my guests about what inspires them walking around our Dorset countryside.

You can have a free Discovery Session with me, so that we can explore your current challenge, what you'd love to create and whether we would be a good fit to work together.
I offer a 12-month Coaching Programme
The fee for Individual Coaching programme is £4200, payable as £350/month, alternatively you can pay £4000 as one advance lump-sum.
Once the financial investment has been made, then we can commence.
Firstly, I will help you get Clarity on what you want to achieve over the next 12 months, that would make this your best year ever! This will need a mindset shift, so we'll help you get clarity there too!
Then on the Curve platform (which you'll have access to through the 12 months), we will co-create your One Page Plan to achieve your best year.
Each month, you will update the Curve with how you're progressing against your goals and we will have a coaching session focused around helping you stay accountable and on track. Your monthly progress and learning will be visible throughout so you can reflect on your transformational journey!
Once we complete the 12 months coaching, evidenced through the Curve, then you'll receive 25 CPD points and an Impact Report as evidence of your transformational journey.
Optional Extra - GC-index and DISC profiling for Impact and Influence
You may decide to include the optional GC-Index and DISC profiles review ahead of our 12 coaching, so that your insights to maximise your Impact and Influence can inform into our coaching together.
The fee for the GC-Index and DISC profile assessments and review session is £600. This could be stand-alone, or included within the 12-month Coaching programme.
The total fee for Individual Coaching programme including GC-Index and DISC profiles is £4800, payable as £400/month, alternatively you can pay £4200 as one advance lump-sum.
Team Coaching
If as a Leader, you would value coaching for your team members, either individually as as a functional team together, then I can offer you a GC-Index Team Impact and One-Page Plan workshop for you and your team together.
The Fee for Team Coaching and GC-Index is dependent on the number of team members, but ranges from £25k to £30k (team sizes of 5-8). Please contact me for more details.

Overwhelm and Motivation
A few years ago I was depressed. With the help of my family I turned the corner, but whilst the depression was gone, life still wasn’t all roses. I was feeling overwhelmed with what needed doing, life felt like a chore. I was constantly tired and snappy with my family. I realised I needed something more than just a supportive family and that is when I turned to David. He helped me see why what I had been trying wasn’t working. "David has taken me on quite a journey, from an initial place of uncertainty, a little apprehension and nervousness. Admittedly at my first session I felt uncertain and skeptical because I knew I was asking a lot.

Stress and Procrastination
"Prior to coaching, I had reached a very low point in my life and made a decision that I was not going to give up, but realised that I needed some help to regain my confidence and bounce back.
My main sticking points were a severe procrastination habit, lack of self-confidence, a tendency to panic and feel over-whelmed under pressure, and forgetting how to have simple, childish fun!
As a result of David's coaching, I now have much more confidence in my day-to-day work life. I am able to interact with my peers and senior colleagues much more positively and with more self-assurance. Although my procrastination is not completely gone (that will take more practice!) I now recognise when I am doing it and why, and I can choose behaviours to overcome it as appropriate. I am much better able to deal with stressful situations or situations where I felt under pressure and out of control without becoming so panic-stricken.
I now have good tools for building a much more positive relationship with my daughter - she still pushes my buttons but I have a better ability to choose my response and I understand it is my choice to react positively.
David's 90-day programme gave me the opportunity to develop ideas and review progress on a regular basis rather than trying to cram it in to one session. There was the flexibility to focus on what mattered at the time of each session and to change focus if something else came up.
For me, a single coaching session coaching would be ok to get through a one-off event or as a reminder/refresher, but the 8-session programme gave me the chance to develop and pursue different aspects, as well as serve as a ‘conscience’ from one session to the next to make sure I applied what we had discussed, review the outcomes and understand what worked best for me.
As a result I am much more confident in my work and have greatly increased self-belief. My efforts were noticed both at work and at home and I have got a real boost from the positive comments I’ve had. I couldn’t have done that on my own!"
