About me

I can support you with big questions such as "what is next in my career" or I can support you to look after your mental health and be gentler on yourself.

I have a therapeutic style allowing you real space to think and use gentle challenge to move you forward.  We will work together to give you the courage to make positive changes in your life and to work through those changes.

Whether big changes or small changes, so whether you want to

  • learn to say no & be more assertive
  • gain confidence
  • deal with difficult relationships
  • reduce your stress
  • or make big life changes around career or your personal life

I provide an affordable and flexible approach to the coaching structure based upon your needs. There is no minimum number of sessions to sign up to: you may only need two sessions, you might want on-going sessions. The amount of time between sessions is agreed with you at the end of each session. We work around your needs. We will "meet" virtually on zoom, or another online platform if you prefer.

About me:

I have  been coaching since 2013, and also teach  and assess new coaches. I love supporting people to make positive changes to help them find some calm and happiness in their lives. Good coaching really does do that. My aim is always to help you to move towards a happier and more fulfilling life at the pace you need.

I feel privileged to support others towards this goal. I have a non-directive, flexible style and am a very attentive listener who is patient, empathetic and non-judgemental while also able to challenge in a supportive way to move you forward.  I work to help you feel complete acceptance and that you are valued and respected. With this as a basis we work together to get you to the goal you want!

What happens at the initial session?
We will establish how coaching can help you and also how we can best work together. It is important to ensure that we can work together and build good rapport to support your progress. We will also go through the contract to ensure we are both clear on expectations from each other.

This session is complimentary.

How often will we meet?
This depends upon your needs. I regularly see people for between 4 and 6 sessions. You may need less or more. This will become apparent after the first few sessions.

We will meet weekly or fortnightly - as is your need. Sometimes you may want to move very quickly. Other times you may need more time between sessions.

Where will we meet?
Currently we will "meet" virtually on zoom, or another online platform if you prefer.

I coach online, using Ms Teams, Zoom, Google Meets. If you would like to meet in your work setting, providing there are suitable rooms, we can easily arrange. In this case travel expenses will be attached to the hourly fee.

Between sessions:
I will be available via email between sessions to answer any queries or give support should you need it.

Testimonials:

I was in a real low, deflated & 'stuck' place when.......... coaching with Bev. It only took the first session & 2 weeks of complete turn around in events by putting myself out there again & taking back control of my life, having Bev as that support & making me realise my self-worth... I can't thank her enough! I really would recommend coaching with Bev, I found her really easy & comfortable to talk to opening up about my goals... I have found myself again. Thank you Bev X

"Bev was able to professionally guide me to answers and helped me gain a clarity of purpose about my career. She also helped me to reflectively assess my own strengths. The true testament to the quality of her coaching is that a couple of months down the line, I am still using the tools that Bev gave me in order to make positive changes."

"Bev is a fantastic coach, she listens deeply to hear you.
Through conversations Bev and I had I was able to acknowledge change was needed and deserved. I embraced a journey that took my career down a very different path that has connected me with my passions and strengths. Bev created a safe compassionate space for me to explore things that were very emotional, yet challenged and stretched me to do something about it. Thank you Bev for listening."

"Beverly puts you at ease the minute you walk through the door. Her smile is friendly and infectious and you can warm to her immediately. She has a warmth that encourages you to wrap yourself into, to feel safe and secure. She listens! With few words she will support you to find the answers that YOU need to move forward, to address your challenges."

“superb listener and completely empathetic in your approach….Her questioning is very insightful”, “so calm and collected in her approach.” .....very caring, a superb listener and empathetic while able to challenge in a calm and supportive way.

Ability to challenge - “Bev has certainly mastered this. She does it in the nicest calmest way, with a smile on her face, but the challenge is very pronounced and not something you could avoid or talk around.” -
“good use of silence”. "Bev challenges in a calm and supportive way"

“Very useful, the session got me to consider the reality of my situation and the options that lay in front of me. I have carried out the agreed actions and this has led to a positive conclusion. “
