About me

I coach individuals and purpose-driven organisations working for people and planetary health, empowering them to thrive and reach their full potential.

I offer transformational life, leadership and holistic mind-body coaching with an emphasis on deepening your sense of connection to self, others and the communities and world we inhabit. My work stems from my belief in the profound link between deep self-understanding and inner work and developing authentic, meaningful and rewarding action and impact in our every day.

I will guide you to a greater understanding of yourself and your purpose through providing and holding a safe, confidential space for exploration, reflection, guidance and clarity, enabling your development of greater self-awareness and alignment.

In all my coaching I coach the ‘whole person’. I have a strong understanding and training in the mind-body connection and the value of developing a listening field through our entire being not solely through our intellect but as much through feeling and intuition as logic.

My coaching packages are particularly suited to creatives, innovators, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, activists, freelancers and organisations working in the fields of social and environmental impact, community development, international development, health and wellbeing and the healing arts.

I work with compassion, authenticity and a strong belief in your innate inability to shine light on your own path forward. I will support you to shift blockages, dismantle repetitive negative patterns and take purposeful positive steps forward in your life, relationships and work. You will uncover greater confidence, courage, wellbeing, balance, pleasure and meaning.

Transformational Life Coaching is for you if you:

1:1 Coaching packages typically consist of 6 x 1hr sessions over a period of 4-5 months and can be adjusted to suit each individual. Goals, milestones and themes will be determined and provide clear structure throughout your coaching journey, both inside and outside sessions. 

Mind-Body coaching is for you if you:

  • know you need to look after your health and wellbeing more but struggle to sustain practices and routines
  • have a specific health goal and want support to reach it in a sustainable way
  • want to begin or to deepen your exploration and understanding of the mind-body connection
  • would love a toolkit of simple wellbeing practices suited to you that you can bring in to your everyday
  • want tools to calm yourself and your nervous system for a greater sense of wellbeing and rest

Mind-body coaching is a blend of life coaching (talking) and bespoke 1:1 mind-body sessions incorporating yoga, breathwork, natural movement and guided meditation. The package will be carefully designed with you after an initial exploratory session.

Training, qualifications & experience

Anâhata Coaching is built on my foundations and training as a transformational life and leadership coach, and my long early career in the field of international development and social enterprise. It is also borne from a period of deep inner work during a work sabbatical.

My training and qualifications are as follows:

Before founding anâhata coaching my work included:

  • Director of a UK-based charity working on rural development initiatives in India
  • Consultant for Charities and UK Social Enterprises (5 years)
  • Co-founder and Exec. Director, for ten years, of the award-winning international charity PhotoVoice, delivering media training projects for at risk groups as a tool for self-advocacy, self-expression and income generation

I believe coaching is a highly valuable tool that in an ideal world would be accessible to all. I do not want cost to be a barrier and for that reason at any time will offer a couple of bursary coaching packages to those who can not afford coaching. Please contact me to discuss if you believe you could qualify.
