I help leaders, particularly those in the public and third sectors, to achieve success during challenging and changing times, by giving them the confidence to be innovative and make the changes they want to deliver.
- Ever found yourself struggling to give your team clarity while constant change happens all around you?
- Is there a change you want to make but are struggling to take the first steps?
- Are you and your team over-burdened and under resourced?
- Are you getting bogged down and struggling to get your head up and think strategically?
- Are you feeling isolated, lonely at the top and without someone to turn to?
- Are you struggling to identify your strategic goals and get everyone moving towards them?
- Unsure what your next career step is?
These are just some of the issues on which I’ve helped leaders make changes that have had lasting impact on both the individual and the organisation.
Whatever it is that you want to change, my coaching is here to help you make it happen!

“Tim is open, friendly and positive. He quickly establishes trust and a good coaching relationship. He has many excellent tools and resources which help the conversations and provide a structured way of thinking about things. He has helped me identify areas of strength and build my self-confidence. I have come away from each conversation with a renewed sense of optimism in the future!”
— Alex, a leader who worked through team relationships and career goals
“I enjoyed working with Tim. As a coach he was insightful, knowledgeable and well prepared. At the end of each session I was in a better place, with a clearer understanding of the issues I was facing. Thanks to Tim's coaching style, active listening and questioning I left every session with concrete actions and next steps that I had developed myself.”
— Karl, senior leader who made a challenging organisational decision with the ‘authenticity’ he wanted to maintain.
“I didn't know what life coaching could do for me but, through our intro call, Tim helped me understand what it was, what it wasn't and how it could help me develop. Tim is a very skilled life coach and I have already developed so much in my understanding of who I am, what I want and how I might get there.”
— Natasha, who found the career move she was after
I am a Civil Servant with years of experience in leading multi-million-pound programmes and UK-wide policy in order to bring cutting edge technology to bear on some of our most complex societal challenges. I’ve enjoyed building and leading teams with a growth mindset, who are willing to take calculated risks and make change happen.
Coaching has always been a key element of my leadership, and at some point in late 2018 I reflected on just how much I enjoyed the time that I spent coaching and realised that I wanted more of this in my life!
In 2021, I completed a diploma in Transformational Coaching with the excellent Animas Centre for Coaching, which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation and the Associations of Coaches. Since starting, I have been coaching leaders and career changers both within the Civil Service and outisde of it.
I have recently taken on a job share role, which is allowing me to combine my Civil Service role as co-head of a team delivering a crucial component of the Government’s £1Bn Net Zero Innovation programme, with the opportunity to ‘give back’ to others through my coaching.
My career in the Civil Service has been focused around delivering innovation, which has taught me a lot about embracing change. To make changes, no matter whether they’re personal or organisational, large or small, often requires bravery, a willingness to open up to some vulnerability, and to take some kind of calculated risk.
This desire to help positive change to happen sits at the root of my coaching practice.
