About me

I work as a dual registered therapist and Coaching Psychologist who has also worked as a HCPC registered, Chartered, Educational and Child Psychologist, working with families for many years. I specialise in working with individuals who in their busy lives, may not have had time to think about what is really important to them for quite some time.

People who have worked with me have described me as motivating, warm, loyal, empathetic, a good listener and caring - especially after I have had a decent cup of coffee in the morning!

I have worked with senior leaders in public services, education practitioners, teams, families, young people, those considering a career change, those taking a new leadership role, redundancy or returning to work and those planning for retirement - I work with people who are interested in their self-development and who want to make positive changes in their own lives and those around them. My role is to work with you to do your best thinking. As a Coaching Psychologist we can work at depth to move forward in the NOW at a pace to suit your individual needs and preferences.

My belief is that we all need to have a strong sense of our values (to know what matters).

We base our values around desired qualities of behaviour. They stand for how you want to treat yourself, others and the world around. Your values guide you towards what really matters to you, and to find a way back to yourself at those times when you're feeling a little bit lost, overwhelmed or just unsure or undecided - they are like a compass.

As a highly experienced Coaching Psychologist, I have the skills and knowledge to help you identify your values which you can then use intentionally to live a full and purposeful life with capacity to live to your full transformative potential. To enable resilience, even whilst experiencing periods of uncertainty, and volatility.

I offer shorter and long-term support to suit your individual needs and preferences, for instance:

My fee starts at £80 for each 90 minutes session. These fees are on a pay-as-you-go basis and typically most clients work with me for between 4 to 12 sessions. Unlike therapy or counselling, these sessions can be taken over a longer period of time with useful gaps to enable you to put into action some of the changes that you want to make before we meet again to review progress and to continue to refine your goals and planning for moving forwards.

I also offer :

1. Counselling for trainee counsellors at an affordable rate

2. Consultation for education practitioners

3. Wellbeing Supervision for groups and individuals

Please contact me for further details of these offers if interested.

Please feel free to contact me for a conversation to see if I am the coach that you want to work with. I do not believe in 'hard sells'. These 20 minute calls will help you to decide if coaching is for you and whether I am the coach for you with no obligation to go forward unless you want to.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am able to use and adapt a wide variety of skills, models, approaches and knowledge gained over time to work with your individual strengths and needs.
