About me
‘Helping you heal and transform; move from feeling stuck in trauma to a place of hope and empowerment, where you can embrace your true self and be the person you are meant to be’
About me:
I am a Professional Member of the Association of Coaching, a fully insured, ICO Registered Life Coach based in Kent. My holistic approach provides a safe space where my clients can find acceptance, clarity, and be empowered to move forward in their healing journey.
I support clients define their best life, by exploring the space between where they are now, and where they want to be. By understanding where they are emotionally, my clients can begin working towards their goals. Together, we identify where change and growth are desired and walk through a process of equipping, as clients develop the tools needed to take control of their life.
With almost 30 years of experience working in the community supporting young people and their families, and 20 years spent managing large and diverse staff teams, I have refined my natural capacity for empathic nurturing and developed a broad range of professional skills in facilitating healing and growth.
As a single parent of 5 children, one of whom is neurodiverse, I have faced challenges and can be honest about the fact that I still do. However, as a trauma survivor, I recognise that my life is only the way it is now because I embraced my healing journey. I chose to take control and get the help I needed. This step was the starting point in my journey towards empowerment and ultimately, I was able to make the changes necessary to regain my sense of identity and purpose.
My own lived experience underpins my work as an empowerment coach, I know that freedom from trauma is possible and what it takes to achieve it. I am passionate about helping people find themselves, find direction, and empowering them to achieve their goals. I believe we are born with the qualities we need to live a full life and walk into a brighter future.
Trauma can feel like it has disrupted our destiny, but I offer a safe, nurturing environment in which clients are accepted without any judgment and provided the support required to shift out of this state and feel the freedom to direct their own steps.

Client Testimonials;
Heather's encouragement and guidance has had an enormous impact on my personal and work life. Heather offered support with self-reflection, perfectionist mentality and learning to give myself permission to take a break when needed. I’m very grateful to have met Heather, the confidence I have achieved through our work continues to be impactful on my life and choices I make. Thank you Heather!
'Regardless of our backgrounds, our gifts & skills, life presents us with challenges as well as joyous opportunities. In those times when we need a sensitive, caring, but experienced & insightful advocate, Heather’s nurturing & empowering skills can help us to realise where we are & where we can be. Heather is incredibly astute & able to help identify & address the goals for the best life to be lived, even when the situations may seem to overwhelm us'
I had the good fortune to be managed by Heather and received the benefit of her natural coaching abilities within that context. As a neurodivergent, trauma survivor there are additional layers of complexity for me within any new role. Having Heather to coach me through the process was pivotal in my being able to not only remain in post but also to recognise and utilise my own unique skills and strengths despite some very trying circumstances. Heather was remarkably astute in her capacity to hear my narrative and pull out key points for us to explore, develop and problem-solve. There was never a moment where I felt judged by Heather, despite being quite emotional at times and I think this open, honest rapport was foundational in how Heather was able to support me. She didn't tell me what to do so much as highlighting to me what the options could be and every suggestion she made was underpinned by her genuine desire to see me grow and flourish within her team. I would recommend working with Heather to anyone that finds themselves stuck in an internal dialogue that undermines their potential or facing situations that they feel ill-equipped to overcome - whether related to trauma, other negative life experiences or neurodiversity. Heather may not have a magic wand, but she has something better and that is the belief in the abilities of those around her, and the courage to think outside-the-box in service of doing her best to help others achieve their goals. Heather may not be my manager anymore but her support didn't end there. Her guidance and suggestions are powerful because I was able to take them with me and apply them more broadly within my life. The tools Heather gave me, I am still utilising as I continue on my own recovery journey and I can't thank her enough.
**this review has been submitted using my son's facebook page as I do not subscribe to social media but so strongly believe in the value of what Heather is offering**
' I have had the good fortune to have know Heather for many years now. Heather was first introduced to me and my family when my daughter went to her group (Young carers ).
As soon as I met Heather I knew that not only my daughter would be looked after but that I could talk to Heather as well.
There was many of times where I would cry to Heather and get very emotional and Not once Heather judged me.
When Heather announced that she was leaving her job myself and my daughter was heartbroken
Well all I can say is that Heather you are amazing lady and would recommend Heather to anyone that needs that help and support.'
