About me

Hi, I'm Hannah and I run The People Practice Group, supporting parents to manage challenging life transitions and enabling them to rediscover their identity so they can reach their full potential.

Maybe:

  • You've got a great career but you find it meaningless and want a role with purpose
  • You can’t face returning to your 9-to-5 after parental leave
  • You’re a stay-at-home parent who has lost their confidence but wants to return to work.
  • You're overwhelmed with work and life and are confused about the next steps.

You are not alone: All of this was once me!

I’m mum to three very different children, a special guardian for a fourth child, a registered foster carer, wife, coach and parenting practitioner.

When it comes to work, I’ve seen and done it all. I’ve been employed and self-employed, and have 20 years’ experience working in sales and marketing roles, many at board level, developing a deep understanding of leadership, people management and strategy.

In 2005, I was involved in an accident that left me with life-changing injuries and also a solid awareness of PTSD, disability and developing resilience.

It also  gave me a different lens to view life through. This ability to see things differently, past limits and into possibility, has enabled me to make changes in my own life and work as well as the careers and lives of my clients.

This resilient viewpoint was tested during the pandemic. Lockdown presented myriad challenges: working full time, parenting, home-schooling, managing the home and keeping my marriage strong was incredibly stressful.

At points, each area of my life felt out of control, which had a compounding effect, negatively impacting other areas of my life.

But strength has a funny way of showing up when the going gets tough. The trials I faced during the pandemic forced me to accelerate my personal growth and improved my resilience, confidence, knowledge and training. I was delighted to see enhanced success and stability in my family, work and personal relationships. With renewed passion, confidence and energy, I embarked on a new career as a transformative coach and parenting practitioner.

Now my purpose is to help individuals just like you find themselves, so you can enjoy the work and people you love and create the change you stand for.

My clients often report finding greater self-awareness, confidence, direction, purpose, motivation, resourcefulness, happiness and joy as a result of our work together.

I take a holistic approach to coaching, informed by neuroscience, that delivers long-lasting, impactful results in areas such as life purpose, career change, confidence building and leadership.

I have specific expertise in working with parents to look at identity, life balance and returning to work after a career break/parental leave.

I will help you to take control of your mindset so you can move forward in your work and home life by providing an independent lens and the space to listen, but always with warmth and humour.

But don't just take my word for it - see what my clients think

"I would highly recommend Hannah for life coaching. I explored a professional career challenge recently and can honestly say that Hannah was a catalyst for change. This was all down to her innate ability to ask the right questions, listen objectively, understand what I was really saying and provide clarity. She gave me the framework and space to look within and come up with some “eureka” moments. In addition, Hannah’s warmth, humour, insights and reassurance made the whole process rewarding and a pleasure."

"Hannah has helped me focus the subject of each session and identify what may be my over-thinking and historical baggage on issues versus what is live now – this has been very liberating and helpful in focusing on what is the priority. The warmness of Hannah too helps to cultivate the relationship enough for me to feel as though I can be vulnerable in talking about my challenges, so that we can focus on the real issues at hand. She's been simply fantastic."

The best way to understand coaching and see if working together is right for you is to book a COMPLIMENTARY PARENT EMPOWERMENT coaching session.  I look forward to hearing from you!
