About me
My job as a coach is to clearly understand the challenges that are being faced within the context of that reality. In the joint venture between coach and coachee, we will create a trusted environment for exploration and endeavour, using a thinking partnership to uncover insights and understanding.
As an optimist, I believe that every individual has the capacity for change.
My job will be to provide the individual with a safe space to reboot- where you will feel heard and have time to think. A space where you can explore your thoughts, the paths before you and the options that you can take forward. In these sessions we may uncover some difficult topics and challenging blocks, however, these difficulties can be resolved not just with hard work but often with the richness of humour and playfulness.
I hold the belief that people are capable of rerouting themselves to find greater meaning and purpose in their own lives, and given the right support, to be the best possible version of themselves. My experience has shown that people are enormously resourceful. With the right support, a sense of humour prevailing, and an increasing tool kit, they can find and identify new solutions to the challenges they face.

Further information
I bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of working as a health professional for over 35 years, as well as being a hands-on Mum, a single parent, and maintaining a healthy curiosity about the ups and downs and complexities of both my life and other peoples.
With over 30 years of experience working in different organisations, most notably the NHS, leading both large and small teams, I have developed my skills in leadership and guidance, gaining expertise in one-to-one coaching.
My life experience has taught me that a holistic approach to coaching, looking for links between life experiences at home, work and in relationships brings about the greatest transformation in people's lives. I work with individuals who are seeking a sense of identity, resolving conflicts in relationships and looking for deeper self-awareness. Where possible and with consent, I strive to support the individual to come to a greater understanding of themselves … by recognising and identifying the internal and external influences in their life.
I love working with people, and I relish the opportunity to help others to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together we can make a difference.
I live and work from my home in the beautiful countryside of Somerset, and am equally happy to see clients virtually or face-to-face.
