About me
Coaching transformed my own life and career and I am passionate about its ability to transform people's thinking and actions. I love helping people to understand and use their greatest strengths to create the life and future they want.
I provide personal development/life coaching for people to empower them to make changes in their lives and be the person they want to be. I help people to figure out their goals, solutions, and what matters by providing a space for them to think, get clarity about what is important and explore their potential. This could be about work, relationships, behaviour/mindset change, confidence or whatever challenges life is presenting.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a very experienced, award-winning coach (Harvard Institute of Coaching). I have a Ph.D. and ILM level 5 certificate in coaching and have published articles about its benefits (see my website for details). I am also a certified Imagery Coach (a coaching approach often used with elite athletes and the military to help them fully imagine and achieve their goals).
I have been coaching people - from teens to those in retirement - for 9 years both online and in person in my garden room coaching space. I am a trainer and guest lecturer in coaching and deliver coaching skills training across the UK. I am the Director of Group Coaching for the Michael Beverley Innovation Fellowship at the University of Leeds, where I support researchers through coaching to become entrepreneurs.
I have a background in social work and firmly believe that coaching can have positive benefits for society and should be as accessible as possible. I coach people from lots of different professions at all levels in their organisations, including social workers and teachers, I also coach students, and am currently coaching young people leaving care in Hartlepool.

Fees
£150.00 per session
Additional information
The first 'chemistry' session is £100, and sessions thereafter are £150. Rates for people working in social work, social care, the NHS and the unwaged are discounted to £90 for the first session and £110 for follow-up sessions.
Further information
I provide both online (via Zoom) and in-person coaching in my beautiful garden room coaching space in Shelley, West Yorkshire, which has stunning views across the Holme Valley. All sessions last up to 90 minutes.
