About me
Hi, I'm Sarah.
I am a qualified ADHD coach and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF, working with adults, children and families to support them to better understand their own ADHD. In coaching we create clarity and understanding around how it is holding you back and create effective strategies and structures to help you to move forward with success.
Our ADHD brains are just wired differently, and with the right support, knowledge, understanding and compassion we can achieve the success we are truly capable of. We just need to work with rather than against our brilliant brain.
I trained as an ADHD coach with the ADD Coach Academy in New York, the gold stamp in ADHD coaching.
Prior to this I worked as a Career Change and Transition coach (after qualifying with The Coaching Academy) working with frustrated professionals who were looking to create more fulfilment in their working life. I continue to work with adult clients with ADHD, and offer career coaching with an ADHD lens to both private clients and via the Access to Work government scheme.
I also support children, parents and families on their own ADHD journey. Parent coaching is extremely effective in creating a better understanding and more compassion for their child's ADHD. I understand first hand how challenging it can be being the parent of an ADHD child and the overwhelm and worry that you often feel.
I also coach children directly to help them to manage the challenges that are holding them back, and to create skills and strategies with Executive Function. Ultimately coaching aims to create more calm, confidence and enjoyment for the family.
Aside from my coaching and NLP credentials, I am also a member of the British Psychological Society and a certified Firework Career Coach.
I was late diagnosed myself with ADHD following the all too common journey of one of my children being diagnosed first.
