Marguerite Farmer
About me
I love to support people with gaining a better work-life balance. Perhaps you’re finding it challenging to make time for the things which are important to you? Maybe work has become all-consuming and you feel less effective than you’d like to be? I can help you investigate your values to find what is most important to you, develop new habits for success and put together a plan which works for you.
Another area I focus on is resilience coaching; helping you look at stress from a number of different angles, figuring out the places in your life where stress is a problem and supporting you with practical strategies in order to build resilience and make the changes suited to you.
A third area I work in is supporting people who want to improve their confidence in work situations. Sometimes, for various reasons, our levels of confidence hold us back from showing our true potential. Alongside coaching, I have a variety of tools and activities which will help you to make friends with your inner critic!
One of the most important things in a coach/client relationship is rapport. This is what my clients say about me;
“Marguerite’s sessions are great – she knows how to get the most out of people to assist them in achieving their personal and business goals.”
“One of the most empowering experiences I have had…I couldn’t have done it without Marguerite.”
“Provides quality time and headspace.”
“Marguerite has that rare gift of being able to lead you to conclusions from within, an experience which left me feeling confident and empowered.”
"Challenged me to achieve more."

Training, qualifications & experience
I have a diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy - one of the world’s largest coach-training organisations. I was proud to receive a distinction and my qualification is broadly equivalent to ILM level 5. I am fully insured to provide coaching services and a member of The Association for Coaching. This means I operate within their code of ethics, consistently work on my own professional development and participate in coaching supervision.
In addition to this training, I have been coaching and mentoring for more than ten years, initially as part of my senior leadership roles in education and now as an established full-time coach.
I am also an associate coach for Genius Within CIC providing workplace strategy coaching for neurodiverse individuals and teams.

Fees vary depending whether you are self-funding or sponsored by an organisation. If you're looking for a rough guide to pricing; for a self-funded fully-inclusive programme of coaching (interim email support, strengths profiling), 6 sessions is currently £800.
For effective coaching it is vital that you and your coach are a good match. I offer a free initial phone consultation to allow us to discuss your aims, see if coaching is right for you and for us both to ‘test the water’. If we are both happy to proceed, I will prepare a coaching programme tailored to you and your requirements.
