About me

Trauma informed solution focussed online coach for aged 10 up to university age.

Working on Skype or Zoom with over 21 years of experience working with young people.

Starting with an initial free of charge chat with parents and carers to ensure Liz is the right support for your child. Then it would be a paid for hourly consultation with your child to ensure that they are coachable and we both feel we can work together. Then 1 hourly coaching sessions either on Skype or Zoom would be set at a mutually convenient time after school or on a Saturday for example. Usually, coaching takes place over 6-12 weekly sessions. with weekly reviews in place.

Providing trauma informed solution focussed coaching for parents of teenagers (if Liz is not currently working with your child)

DBS, indemnity insurance held and annual Child Protection training undertaken. 

Liz is also a youth mental health first aider and also an Instructor Member delivering various youth mental health training online.

Liz has worked as a youth worker, mentor, and coach for teenagers up to university age for the last 20+ years. Within the last 5 years also as a consultant and an Instructor Member for Mental Health First Aid England delivering youth mental health courses.

Liz is child centred in her coaching sessions providing a safe, trusted adult to work with young people in all areas of their lives - school and university work/exam and revision planning, dealing with friendships, relationship breakups, changes at home such as stepfamily relationships, moving home or schools, divorcing parents, dealing with anger and low self-esteem, creating self-care plans, better sleep routines and many other areas of their lives.

Free initial telephone session

Additional information

Youth coaching - A free upto 30 minute consultation with a parent or carer to ensure that coaching is the best approach. Liz may use her youth mental health first aid skills to signpost if that meets the needs of your child better. 

Then a paid for initial consultation with your child to ensure that we can work together and I am the best person to support your child at this time. If mutually an agreement is made, 6-12 weekly sessions are set in the diary after school or on a Saturday.

Parent coaching - initial free 30 minute consultation. Short form to be completed before coaching commences.  Blocks of 2, 4 or 6 1 hour sessions are available.
