Jodechi Morton- BA (Hons), Dip.Life Coaching, Dip.Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

About me

Hello, I’m Jodechi Tiggs Morton. My background is in positive psychology and psychotherapy and I'm fully qualified and certified as a Life Coach, Cognitive Behavioural Coach and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.  I'm currently seeing clients face to face in person at my office in Brockham (located between Dorking and Reigate) and I'm doing online therapy using Skype which allows me to work with clients around the world.

I believe in good mental health and I will help you achieve this. I'm completely committed to your self-development and all that entails.

Why work with me?

Because I can help you and I have a high success rate with my clients. A big part of that is because I really enjoy people and I enjoy doing this work. I bring that passion to each and every client that I work with. Equally important is that I have the knowledge and over 16 years of experience in working in these professions. I have the expertise to help you with each challenge you are currently facing.

How will I be able to help you?

It is rare to find a professional that is highly trained and experienced in all these areas. If we get stuck during a Life Coaching session then I gently and seamlessly switch us over to Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC) or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and help you get unstuck so that we can again move forward with your life. It all happens quite naturally and I know when and where to use each method so much so that often the client is unaware of moving between the different methods and instead they have a powerful sense of well-being and feel more confident in themselves.

What can you expect from each of our sessions?

I will bring all that I am to each session I have with you. I will bring my knowledge, my intelligence, my energy, my compassion, my non-judgemental approach, my trust and my kindness. We will work together in making positive changes in your life. I will help you find answers to your questions, set goals, make action plans and we will bring these amazing changes to your life. We will develop a strong life foundation for you and I will teach you how to keep developing this after our work is done. This way we will make sure these changes will last.

I specialise in the following areas and please note that in-person face to face appointments are again available with Covid safety measures in place-

  • Online Therapy (Skype)
  • Teenagers Life Coaching, CBC and CBT
  • Bullying
  • Dyslexia
  • Confidence and self-esteem building

Further information

Client C.N. Property Developer- When I first met with Jodechi I was in a very low state. A stressful job alongside some family challenges had left me low on energy and confidence. Jodechi helped me unpick these challenges, creating better context and rationalising the negative state that I had got to. I found her both caring and supportive, and the energy that she gave to our sessions together was a real tonic to me. I am happy to say that I am now in a far better place and will be forever grateful for the support that Jodechi gave me.

Client J.C. Asset Management- Jodechi was recommended to me and working with her has helped me immensely. My father had recently died and I was trying to cope with a young family and a challenging job. I felt I needed to reassess my priorities and have a better idea of where I was heading and Jodechi helped me achieve all this and more. Her understanding, insightfulness and ability to challenge me helped me identify the things I wanted to change and to take action. She supported me through a particularly difficult work situation and helped me have the confidence to achieve an outcome that I would not have thought possible. Working with her was invaluable and I would not be on the path I am today if it hadn’t been for her guidance. I am eternally grateful for everything she enabled me to deal with and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Client C.B. Physical Therapist- My sessions with Jodechi have been life-changing and life-enhancing. We began with the CBT and finished with the life coaching and both of these enabled me to see where I was blocking myself and I was able to recognize the pain inducing habits I was holding. With great compassion and humour, Jodechi guided me through the process of releasing these deep emotional issues and has since taught me how to manifest all things.

Client N.P. Mother and Nurse- Jodechi has really helped my teenage daughter by using coaching and CBT. One of the best things that has come out of this is that my daughter has a much clearer understanding of why she reacts to things in a certain way and what she can do to change this in her future. She says she feels more in control now. And she is able to accept responsibility for her actions and reactions. And she enjoys the talks and having someone that will listen to her and not judge. She is really enjoying these sessions.
