The heart of love
What if I told you that more love and compassion were possible in your life; would you want to know how?
Beyond any reasonable doubt new science shows us that our hearts do much more than simply pump blood through our bodies, we have artificial machines to take care of that for us. But through science we now understand that our heart goes way beyond simply pumping blood and that our heart literally has a brain of its own called neuro-intelligence and it’s the heart’s neuro-intelligence that gives new meaning to the role of the heart in our lives today.
Our physical world is made up of fields of energy, electrical fields called electromagnetic fields of energy. The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body. The electrical field as measured by an electrocardiogram and is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the brain waves recorded in an electroencephalogram ECG. The heart’s field is around 5000 times stronger than that produced by the brain and can be measured several feet away from the body.
The heart chakra is known in Sanskrit as Anahata which means unstuck or unhurt. To me this signals freedom and openness, the immense purity of love itself. I’m sure most of us have felt ‘hurt’ emotionally at some point and it can be felt as a physical pain even though no physical harm has come to us.
When we work with the energy of the heart centre we become aware of what love really is. If we allow ourselves to really tune into the essence of love through the heart centre then we will understand how to forgive, accept and love anew. This can be felt as an automatic release or ‘letting go’ of old wounds, bitterness, judgement, jealousy, anger and resentment everything that your ego ‘I’ self will want to keep hold of so by tuning in to your heart chakra the ‘we’ self you can live a more compassionate, loving and fulfilling life.
Remember everything and everyone is connected, we share the same energy field as there is only one…
