About me
Hi, I’m Sandra Smith, founder of Solar Coaching Ltd. I'm a life coach helping overwhelmed, unorganised & ambitious accountants and working parents to harmonise work, family & well-being, unlock their potential & find ways to be kinder to themselves.
I specialise in areas such as lifestyle, career, parenting, and also anyone wanting to declutter and get more organised.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) and also have 2 qualifications: Level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship qualification, and a Customer Service Coach qualification with the ICS (Institute of Customer Service).
My background is in Finance Systems & Projects and I hold an accountancy qualification (ACCA 25+ years) and Project Management qualification. When I started studying coaching in 2019, I realised that I had been coaching and supporting others throughout most of my career. After being made redundant at the end of last year, I set up my own company helping people like you transition from where they are now to where they want to be.
I am a people person and pride myself as being a good listener, and also someone who sees the person rather than the system or job that they are doing.

Together their aim is to promote good practice and the expectation of good practice in mentoring and coaching across Europe.

I’m passionate about helping you feel better about what you are trying to achieve, and will always leave you feeling positive, more energised, and with realistic actions you can take away from the session and immediately work on. I think it’s important that every minute you spend with me will be meaningful.
I am passionate about my own personal development journey too, and work on myself every single day through mindset journaling, tracking my habits, meditation, personal development courses, positive affirmations and visualisation. This has allowed me to declutter my surroundings as well as my mind. I'm continually working on improving my habits, working on my confidence, trying new things, which allows me to move outside my comfort zone and generally grow as a person.
I offer 1:1 online career and life coaching designed to move clients from where they are now to where they want to be. I‘m here to listen and support clients on working towards their personal and professional goals and dreams.
