About me

My Why - Learning and Growing

At every opportunity I look to see what I can challenge in myself in order to learn and grow. Doing this and encouraging an open mind in others can make for an incredibly supportive and positive growing environment. This might be anything from politics, through to career, where you live through to how you date. Just because many people have done it before you does not mean it's right or indeed, right for you. That is what coaching with me is about - are the decisions you've made built for you?

This summer, more than ever it was clear we all still have a lot to learn and there are many ways for us to help each other grow. In the wake of the George Floyd protests, I realised there wasn't an event in my local community that would bring us together to stand against racism. With three days notice, 1,500 people of Jersey turned up to pay their respects and show their solidarity at the Kneel-In I organised. The working group started from that day continues to evolve and has already contributed towards positive change in the community. I want to continue spreading this positive change wherever possible so please contact me if you would like to talk more.

Appreciating the change we are capable of, came after ten months' solo travelling around South America a few years ago. On my return, I decided that I wanted to focus on those things in my life that I could control. I spent the time reading, reflecting and becoming a lot more open about what I was learning and trying to achieve and what I could do to make that change.

Coaching with me

My love of board gaming and challenge are two things I've learned to channel into providing a coaching practice that is supportive of my clients' goals and creating confidence. When I coached people on furlough during lockdown, I was inspired every time by their developing self-esteem and their motivation to get 'it' done.

These light-up moments is what has defined my practice. I focus primarily on people who feel they haven't made progress because the 'game' they are playing has the wrong rules for them. I want to work with you to build a game plan that belongs to you and that gives you back control over deciding the mood and direction you are looking to achieve long-term. I have worked with people who've started businesses, interviewed for new industries, tried new weight loss approaches and managed their anxiety.

"I really enjoyed the sessions & I cannot explain the impact they have had on my life. I found your way of opening my mind up worked really well. I liked your seemingly subtle approach & always felt at ease & able to open up."

Katy Ware

"Thank you for giving up your time. You have helped me begin a journey that I needed to start, and now I can begin to feel excited as well as challenged by it. I am starting to try and understand myself a bit more, and feel I am gaining confidence in doing so. Thanks!"

Charlie H.

"I was a little bit of a sceptic about coaching before I started and I wasn't sure if it would work for me. However I'm a complete convert now and feel that it really helped me make positive change."
