About me
At a crossroads and not sure which road to take?
I’m an experienced life coach, mentor, and educator with a background in social work, leadership, and learning and development. I work with children, families, adults, couples, men, and people with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other neuro-diverse characteristics.
Many people come to coaching when they’re unsure of their next step — whether that’s solving a problem, building confidence, navigating career change, improving relationships, managing stress, preparing for exams, organising life, or finding direction at key transition points like retirement or after university, dealing with a stressful relationship, support with parenting or helping with ADHD.
My coaching helps you gain clarity, confidence, and momentum. You stay in charge; my role is to guide, support, challenge, and create a space where you can work things out on your own terms.
There’s a voice urging you to take that leap, daring you to go for it — and another voice stopping you. Where do you find the clarity and confidence to take your next step?
Whether it’s:
- making that next step.
- dealing with anxiety and building confidence.
- career transitions and setting new goals.
- I keep getting stuck in the same old cycles
- managing money is a source of stress.
- I struggle to keep organised.
- Dealing with parenting challenges.
- supporting and mentoring teenagers with exams and study skills
- retirement and working out your next steps.
- dealing with a stressful relationship.
- fulfilling your dreams and aspirations.
- getting your life in shape through health and physical wellbeing.
- managing ADHD burnout and other neuro-diverse characteristics.
- support in starting a business.
- men's issues, masculinity, opening up and making sense of manliness including fatherhood.
I am skilled in helping people find their way through their life journey, and I do that by letting them stay in charge and work things out on their own terms. My working style is compassionate and collaborative, guiding you to take each step confidently and flourish along the way. It’s not magic — but the results can feel like it.
Life coaching, for me, means working with you to achieve personal success and fulfilment. It’s about focusing on what is important to you and what you may be grappling with. You set the direction, and you decide where you want to get to.
I’ve taken that leap many times — the plunge into the cold water. Once the leap is made, barriers fade, exhilaration takes hold, confidence soars, and endless possibilities emerge. I can help you make sense of where to go and what comes next.
If you'd like to know more I offer a free 30-minute discovery call, which you can easily book here.
How I work
With a tailored approach, my coaching offers an opportunity to focus on life choices, professional matters, relationship goals, developing positivity, managing stress, career changes, money, building strength, and spirituality — supporting you to find your own solutions.
I provide a safe, reflective, and confidential space that is both supportive and appropriately challenging. My approach is not about telling or assuming, but about helping you take charge of your development, release your potential, make meaningful shifts, and achieve the results that matter most to you.
I offer walking coaching in nature, face‑to‑face sessions, and virtual coaching. I’ve even combined making sourdough bread with coaching and have used museum and gallery spaces to inspire reflection.
I offer coaching and facilitation tailored to your needs — for individuals, children, families, and couples — with particular experience working with men and those who are neuro-diverse.
I am increasingly working with men on a wide range of matters. Whether it’s relationships, work, or finding direction in life, we all need help sometimes. I know from experience that taking the first step can be especially hard for men, as it can feel taboo to talk — when in reality, it’s one of the bravest and most pivotal things anyone can do. Coaching offers time and space to explore your next steps, together.
If you’re interested in hearing more about my coaching, please do get in touch.
I have begun facilitating group coaching and have recently started a men’s coaching group. I also provide leadership and career coaching as an associate coach for organisations across the public, private, and voluntary sectors.
About me
I can help you find a way through, and I love doing that by letting you stay in charge and work things out on your own terms. My approach is mindful and intuitive, supporting clients through their journey of positive change.
Reflecting on my own coaching journey, core coaching principles have always been present — whether in my social work background or in my experience running a football coaching school for young children. As with my practice today, success came from building relationships, having fun, working together, learning, and discovering more about yourself.
I’m a father of four and, in my spare time, a pottery enthusiast, sourdough bread maker, cold-water swimmer, and volunteer cycle‑clinic mechanic. I’m also a trustee for an inspirational local eco‑park, driven by the belief that local action is essential for tackling climate change. I am passionate about social justice and constantly push and challenge myself.

I have been working with Wesley for around a year, meeting for walks and conversations. When we first started, my mind felt completely muddled — I was extremely unhappy and couldn’t work out how to make the changes I knew I needed in my life.
Through Wesley's calm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental coaching, I was able to slow my thinking, gain clarity, and start making sense of what I truly wanted. His empathetic and caring approach helped me to set clear short and long-term goals, and take practical steps forward. A year on, I am actively changing my career and relocating, and for the first time in a long time I can genuinely see a future that will make me happy. This progress is undoubtedly the result of our work together, and I would highly recommend Wesley's services to anyone feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Feedback
I had no hesitations working with Wesley who is a fabulous listener. He was more than a coach, more like a friend who understood my pain points and helped brainstorm ideas to solve my problems and challenges.
Since working together, I have started being more consistent and goal driven. I lacked direction and consistency in my business journey; with the right strategies and time management skills I have become more consistent towards working for my goals. I have also observed Wesley as to how good of a listener he is and I have implemented the habit of active listening with my friends , family and also at work. My peers do see the difference as to how I was in the past and how I am now (After Wesley’s coaching).
What I really liked about working with Wesley who helped me work around my ideas by asking the right questions and that helped me find the best possible solution. He never told me ,”Do this! or Do that” but helped me figure out myself.
Overall, I have become more calculative, decisive, punctual and a good listener.
I would recommend this coaching to people. Apart from this I think the way our environment was set up and the way our sessions went were amazing.
The most important thing people should know is that he is reliable, kind, trustworthy, patient and are someone one could open up and tell anything to. If anything, people need to know you will go above and beyond to try and help.
I have had a great time working with you and I wish my business succeeds to such a level that I get to visit the UK once a month just to see you and resume our coaching sessions!

Wesley Coaching Feedback:
Discussing various subjects with Wesley has brought me a great deal of clarity. I found this to be particularly helpful when discussing how to approach a specific challenge or situation, both in my person and work life. The support and challenge from Wesley allowed me to better understand what the issues were, and how I could best approach them.
I have really benefited the time to discuss personal and professional challenges in a confidential and safe space. I always felt supported, never judged and always left the sessions with a clarity on both, how I felt about the issue at hand and what I needed to do
I would recommend Wesley to any friends or colleagues, as anyone would benefit from the same, supportive and challenging space he provides.
I feel the most important thing I can say is Wesley is the kind of person it’s easy to trust and to feel comfortable with. I always felt that he was interested in what I said and was eager to help me find the solutions myself.
Luke Head of Service Delivery. September 2025
Working with Wesley our business coach has been a truly transformative experience. From the start, his focus on helping his clients achieve clarity and results has been evident. He brings a calm, patient approach to every session, allowing space for real progress without ever feeling rushed or pressured.
What sets him apart is his ability to present and instigate a variety of tailored strategies that align perfectly with individual goals. He doesn’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions—every suggestion is well thought out, practical, and grounded in experience.
I’ve gained a clearer direction, new tools, and more confidence in my business decisions thanks to his guidance. I highly recommend him to anyone serious about growing their business with the support of a coach who truly cares.

Thank you so much for sharing this reflection of our last session - it is great to read!
AIso, I wanted to say I have so enjoyed working with you and our last walk was a highlight. Thank you too for the article which has wetted my appetite for walks. And thank you for the encouragement to write down my vision of the counselling I want to offer. I hope to send you something soon. My very warmest wishes to you Wesley!
WE - January 2025
The coaching has helped me become a lot more assertive, positive about my life and achievements in life so far, proactive in exploring areas that are of interest and new outcomes. I enjoyed the flexibility and the patience and the ability to help me think through some difficult questions and benefited from speaking freely for the first time able to talk about otherwise closed matters in my life. The most important thing people should know about working with Wesley, “Don’t judge this book by the cover” Thank you for helping me move from an area of doubting myself and learning to look at myself and life in a completely new way
Ian - January 2025
Initially, I wasn’t sure I needed coaching. A friend of mine had worked with a coach and it seemed to have got him thinking clearer about his goals. I’d also recently started mentoring other doctors myself and thought I might learn something from an experienced coach. It became clearer to me as we went on the true value of coaching was for me.
What I liked best about working Wesley was the open questions. Lots of listening then timely, incisive questions which got me thinking. Wesley’s coaching is very relaxed with an amiable style. Wesley won’t tell you the answers. He’s patient, he’ll listen, ask incisive questions and ultimately, you’ll work it out yourself.
I’ve already recommended Wesley to my son and has helped him find some direction too. He’s now embarked on a career and has a clearer vision of what his future looks like.
AG - December 2024
I wouldn’t be where I am now without your help.
Jake October 24.
You and a few others have given me the motivation I need to actually go explore what is out there and I feel like if I don’t take this opportunity I may get too bogged down with the rest of my life. With this being said it means that I won’t be needing our sessions anymore. You have been an unbelievable help to me who at the beginning of our time was just a lost boy. I now feel like someone with a fighting chance and I owe so much of it to you. Many regards and thanks.
Archie October 2024
Overall, you have been amazing! I feel I have come a long way in a short time. I have a much clearer view on what direction I want to take. Wesley has helped me to outline and refine some clear goals and identify what is important to me. What I liked was Wesley’s calm composure and the ability to ask the right questions to help me comfortably discuss my situation. I feel way more confident in myself, and I hope to take this confidence forward into my career.
Tony September 2024
My initial hesitations about working with a coach is I probably thought it would be too highbrow for me. Since working together I have retired, and I communicate more with more people now (outside of work). I am in contact with people I haven't been in contact for a long time.
What I liked best about working with Wesley was how non-judgemental he was. I could say what I wanted and felt listened to. You gave me ideas on how to control myself (such as anger with others).
I’d definitely recommend coaching to people who need to look at themselves and see what changes they need to make, particularly in respect to stress and anger. Maybe particularly for middle-aged people approaching different directions in their lives. There’s nothing I felt could have been done differently. We always went for a walk for it was neve
room-based, which was really good.
I would say that you listen and aren't judgemental and will work out ways of helping the client - I had ideas about how a person of your profession would be (judgemental etc.) and you weren't like that.
Just a big thank you to you Wesley for all your help!
Katy, February 2024
Wesley is brilliant. His approach feels different to everyone else’s with a very unique feel to it, it’s a much more personal way of doing things, not only can it be online or face to face, but he also offers a walk, or sitting in a café or even making sourdough - so it just feels different in a lovely way before you’ve even begun. It’s very relaxed and he has an excellent way of getting you to reach some form of clarity yourself. Having finished my sessions, I’ve come away feeling clear, inspired and have a plan. Talking to someone to unpick things to live a better way if not the best way for you is incredibly powerful and Wesley is definitely your man for that. I will be recommending him to everyone I know that could benefit from his coaching. He offers longer sessions than usual at an affordable rate, so it takes the stress out of that too!
Nick February 2024
Thanks Wesley. Your coaching magic has really helped me get to this point.
Hannah October 2023
Working with Wesley has been a game-changer for me. After feeling quite lost, having just graduated and moved to London. Wesley has been instrumental in helping me navigate my career path with confidence and clarity. Through Wesley's support and guidance, I've gained confidence and felt truly empowered by the wide variety of options in front of me. Wesley helped me unlock what makes me tick, guiding me to align my passions with my goals and I cannot thank him enough for the guidance and support he has given me. Wesley has kindly set my career search off to an exciting start, introducing me to contacts in the third sector who have generously taken the time to talk to me about their journey into their own careers. I now feel empowered and excited about my career prospects and future. Thank you, Wesley, for everything!
Simon September 2023
I had more hesitations about working with a life coach, whether such a person could support me and how to choose a suitable coach from the many offering their services. I was at a key moment of change in my life, with loss of job and wanting to change direction, needing to move to more affordable housing which realistically meant moving out of London and my mother passing away. I felt I really needed someone professional who was independent and understanding other than a friend or family member who could give me the direction and support I needed to plan and take the next steps I needed to find direction and get me on track. I decided I wanted to work with a male coach. I think it is important for men to seek support from other men. I read a number of summaries of different life coaches and Wesley’s resume seemed to chime with what I wanted to hear, and I liked his face.
I had 4 sessions of coaching. They helped to motivate me to maintain a schedule and keep a focus on what I needed to do to move forward, I was struggling with finding direction and keeping motivated, they gave me a facilitated space to talk and explore my feelings and fears and to work with these in a positive way and gave me helpful practical tools and feedback to take the steps I needed.
What I liked best about working with Wesley was his relaxed, adaptable, conversational, and how he was there with me on my journey guiding me to a positive outcome, not telling me but working with me with just enough structure.
Working with a life coach has been a positive choice for me to help address life’s challenges. It’s been a real benefit.
I would recommend Wesley’s services to anyone, but I feel it is important for men to seek support from other men when in emotional crises, so would particularly recommend to other men who need support during a period of change/crisis in their lives. Overall, I found the experience very positive and beneficial.
Wesley is genuine, compassionate, understanding, supportive and provides great practical insights and tools to help you move forward.
Just a big thank you for your support and guidance.
Charlie, May 23
I must admit, after the first couple of sessions I wondered whether the life coaching was going to help or not. I am glad I persevered, as after maybe three or four sessions I feel that we turned a corner, where I started to put the coaching into practice and feel the benefits.
Secondly, to remember that the coaching will only help if one is able to act on it. I was faced with some difficult decisions during the coaching, and whilst Wesley helped me gain the confidence to face the situation(s), the outcome is ultimately determined through one’s actions.
Alex, May 23
Working with Wesley made me reflect a great deal on my core values. In doing so, this enabled me to think differently about difficult life decisions, where I could focus on staying true to my values, rather than overthinking or trying to please others. I now feel that I have more confidence in facing such decisions.
What I liked about working with Wesley was how he was always able to make the coaching environment comfortable, allowing me to feel at ease in discussing my situation. In my case, going on walks helped a great deal. We found that some of the best progress from the coaching came from a sunny morning out on the meadows.
Jesse, April 2023
Coaching has helped improve my relationship with close family and loved ones. In getting my priorities in order, and by being true to my core values as an individual, I feel that my family therefore hear less about my concerns and worries. It’s important to me that they know I have confidence to cut out my own path in life, and to try to do so in a manner that is enjoyable, exciting, and optimistic.
Debbie April 2023
I had no hesitations about working with Wesley and liked his calm, gentle and patient manner. Overall, I found clarity around my concerns and understanding where my needs are not being met. I feel stronger and determined not to settle for a mediocrity. I recommend working with Wesley If you’re feeling stuck in your life and are serious about putting the work in to improve your situation. Wesley will ask the right questions but it’s up to the you to answer them and put the work in to make necessary changes.
Avery April 23
For me, each coaching session at times felt like an opportunity open up quite a lot about what has been going on for me.
Sam, March, 2023
Thank you, Wesley. I hope to continue benefiting from our coaching sessions in years to come. When facing difficult life situations or decisions I will do my best to remember the values we discussed, and if necessary take a walk in the sunshine to aid the process! Also know that if I do need to seek your support again, I would be happy to approach you for future coaching sessions.
AB, March, 2023
I would definitely recommend coaching to anyone I know who might be struggling to work through some difficult life problems or decisions. I think in the UK right now there are probably many people who could benefit in talking through their values and life experiences, in order to help them move forward with optimism. Perhaps there is still a lot of stigma surrounding such things. Either way, from my experience, I would encourage Wesley’s coaching to anyone that I think might benefit!
Matt January 2023
I had no hesitations working with Wesley – it’s not like counselling, it’s a more open discussion. Working together, I feel I have been able to untangle my life overall and be a lot clearer about my goals and priorities. What I liked was Wesley’s perceptive and easy nature allowing the sessions to flow. I felt that my concerns were carefully listened to and validated. I also benefited in realising that life is always a work in progress, and our work together has provided me with some useful tools to continue that
progress.
I did wonder if sometimes I was a bit too verbose which may have over-ridden the structure of a session, having said that, the open nature of the sessions allowed for some deep exploration and some pretty amazing light bulb moments.
I would totally recommend Wesley and the process as sometimes it’s difficult to know where to start with major work/life decisions, particularly for people like me who are self-employed or do not have the support of the workplace. If you are going to work with Wesley, feel assured the approach non-judgemental but able to guide and lead when asked.
Thanks for your efforts and patience!
Liz, September 2022
I found coaching and sourdough bread baking Immensely helpful! Apart from kick-starting my bread making career, the day was so inspiring. It has been the catalyst to getting on and starting a new venture that I’ve been talking about for ages.
What I liked best was the completely natural way our conversation was steered leading to deep thinking about what I want, what’s stopping me, and how I can look at things from another viewpoint....
I loved that the time was broken up by the (k)needs of the ‘dough’, little chapters of conversation that could focus on one question or thought...
I’ve benefited in an extraordinary way. The coaching made me realise that the reasons I’d not to get on with things and get started were entirely internal.... mental barriers made of crumbly sand, not concrete, and easy to knock down once I’d understood that. By coaxing out what first steps I could take, and what promises I’d make to myself, I have now unleashed the trapped creativity that I’d always been putting away for ‘when there was time’.
I would recommend Wesley without hesitation! Apart from acquiring new culinary skills(!), I think his very gentle approach to teasing out answers to questions I didn’t know I needed to ask myself is brilliant.
Like therapy but much more fun, and productive, and with delicious bread at the end of the day!
I really liked the format, the day paced by the bread-making process and taking a walk while waiting for dough to rise, brilliant idea!
The most important thing people should know about working with Wesley is that it will be a really rewarding experience... with a coach who is incredibly easy to talk to... and will leave you feeling more energetic and refreshed.
S and K Couple Coaching July 2022
“We’d both like to express our thanks for the time you gave us to listen to our situation and to support us through the change. It’s been invaluable and after each session we come home feeling united as a couple, resilient and reinvigorated: excited about what lies ahead. You’re coaching and facilitating style worked for us beautifully. Thank you, for your support. We’re both so glad we approached you for coaching and your style suited us well”.
Kevin May 2022
Working with Wesley has” given me a much more positive outlook “keep your eye on the prize”. Control the controllables and don’t take any notice of the small man on your shoulder”
What I like best about working with Wesley was the relaxed atmosphere, allowing space to talk
I’d absolutely recommend Wesley as a coach especially to people like me, who have never undertaken sessions like this.
The most important thing people should know about is that anything can be said in confidence and that no judgement will be made.
I enjoyed our sessions and achieved a great deal
Deborah Glass Woodin, June 2021
I had no hesitations working with Wesley apart from a possibly inevitable (with something new) wondering about how and if this would work as a process.
Since we started working together, I have felt less alone with 'the stuff in my head'. I have 'given a go' to some of the things discussed. I no longer feel overwhelmed and indeed feel more energised. And managed to carry out what I intended.
What I liked best about working with Wesley is the informality and peer-support (rather than the 'professional'/has-all-the-answers) nature of it. There was no overt pressurising or expectation. I feel I have a truer picture, that feels workable-with, of what's going on and my experience of it. I feel if I get stuck again, I have someone to turn to.
I would absolutely recommend Wesley. Particularly, I am sure there are other people out there who are generally competent, skilled, fulfilled in life, but maybe 'stuck' or faced with a dilemma and wouldn't usually think to ask for help - which is a shame.
The most important thing people should know about working with Wesley is how supportive and personable he is. With him, the process can really help and is worth the time and attention.
