About me
There are so many profiles to assess when looking for a coach, how do you find your fit?
My fit would be someone who is well-qualified and whose practice is underpinned by research, experience and proven methods. But most of all, they entwine integrity, empathy and empowerment in all that they do.
This is what I strive to offer my clients, and I’d warmly welcome a chat with you to see if I might be your fit.
I support individuals who are facing separation, divorce or co-parenting to reduce overwhelm and find acceptance so they can move forward feeling empowered in creating their new life.
As a published academic researcher, with a background in education, sociology and psychology and as a specialist-trained divorce coach, I have a unique skill set to support you. My support encompasses the logistical, emotional and legal aspects of your unique separation journey. You can work with me at any stage of your separation or divorce; from considering your options prior to separation, being in the eye of the storm to looking forward to your post-separation life. I empower and validate your nuanced experiences on potentially one of the most difficult journeys life will throw at you.
Separation and divorce can be one of the most overwhelming, life-changing events that anyone can face. You are faced with the ending world as you know it; your hopes, your dreams and your future self. You may be questioning your ability to make decisions, to trust and know yourself and others. Making decisions can be rendered almost impossible at times and you may feel completely unheard. Yet, you are often being expected to make life-changing decisions on almost a daily basis. Overwhelm does not adequately describe the enormity of what you may be facing. But I can help.
By being your thinking partner, I can support you in your decision-making processes, building support networks (both personal and professional), clarifying legal processes, supporting more effective communication, and conflict reduction. In doing so, I aim to empower you to seek the best divorce possible. Acting with integrity at your core, emerging with a strength and resilience you didn’t know you had.
Divorce is an expensive process, so the thought of spending money on a divorce coach might seem counterintuitive. However, working with a divorce coach is an investment. A divorce coach has been shown to reduce a lawyer’s chargeable time. With an average hourly charge of over £300 an hour, the cost of a legal professional is undoubtedly the most significant expense in a divorce. A divorce coach is able to reduce a lawyer’s chargeable hours by streamlining and demystifying the process of divorce for clients. Through empowering and supporting their clients there can be an improvement in communication thus conflict whilst developing an effective decision-making process.
I offer a free initial call so why not send me an email or message; this is the hardest part. Let’s have a chat; you can tell me your story so far and see if I am your fit and I can explain the ways in which ways I can support you in your unique journey.
