Susan is a Motivation and Life Coach, based in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Susan is available for consultations, training, workshops and consultancy. Susan founded 'Susan Chan at New Horizons' over 13 years ago and Susan Chan Associates 6 years ago.

Bespoke Interview/ Career Coaching
We offer a programme of three sessions to work with you to identify your career goals and develop the skills to help you to achieve them.
At Susan Chan Associates we come across people who have lost the key element of themselves, who they are and who they want to be. This work requires a coaching relationship, that allows time for you to explore areas of your life that you wish to change and to take you back to the core aspects and values of your life that have been missing. This would include 'future self-work' and some 'life purpose work'.
Group Supervision for coaches and other professionals; allowing for deeper exploration and the sharing of perspectives, we can support professional growth and self-directed learning drawing on the power of the group
Coaching for Rehabilitation: From a background in conflict, dependency and mediation, we can work with individuals in active recovery

Susan is a qualified and registered coach, licensed de-stress consultant, clinical hypnotherapist and motivation therapist (M.Sc., (Mindfulness Studies) B.Sc.,(Psychology) Diploma C.Hyp/NLP, ACFM, MAC). She is a Life Coach, NLP Master practitioner, Motivation, Mindfulness Coach and Teacher. Susan is an ambassador for the University of Aberdeen’s MSc. Mindfulness programme and the Mindfulness Association.

Susan’s services include Life Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Reiki. With such a range of techniques, her approach is individual to the client and holistic.
Susan is a validated practitioner and member of the Association of Coaching, the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). She is an accredited de-stress consultant and can offer courses to individuals and groups. She is a business mentor with the Chamber of Commerce, an accredited CPD provider for Education Scotland. and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) Susan is also a member of the Mindfulness Association.
She dedicates part of her practice to a number of charities, including Ayrshire Cancer Support, The Ayrshire Hospice, Song for Heroes, MS Society, 'See Me.'
Susan works with individual clients, small groups and large groups, within the private, public and voluntary sectors. This includes schools and colleges, charity organisations and commercial agencies, both local and global.
Susan's background includes NHS management, mediation and conflict resolution, Addiction, Counselling. She is a regular mentor for people in business. She is the Founder of 'Susan Chan at New Horizons' and Susan Chan Associates.
Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Susan's initial 1/2 hour consultation is free of charge. Since your programme will be individual to you and your own requirements, fees and the package selected can be discussed at this early consultation or by contacting Susan.
Susan offers individual coaching sessions and blocks of sessions arranged into individual packages to suit your requirements.
Silver package: This consists of four sessions supported by Susan’s own mp3 voice downloads
Gold package: Six coaching sessions together with email support should you wish to contact Susan between appointments. In addition full support from a range of Susan’s own mp3 voice downloads
Platinum package: Six coaching sessions together with email support should you wish to contact Susan between sessions. In addition to a copy of Susan’s Book, ‘A Mindful Compassion Guide to a Happier Life’, you will get support from a range of Susan’s own mp3 voice downloads plus a bespoke mp3 download.
Included in the fee and as part of the coaching service, Susan offers an ongoing and support by email, telephone, ‘we chat’ or Skype
For some clients a longer programme including professional supervision may be selected.
