About me

Hello, I’m Sue, a professional Business and Life coach based in Warwickshire. I've been supporting people to make positive changes to their lives and careers since 2006.

How does it work?
We start with a free 30 minute session to discuss your coaching needs. I then email you a staring coaching questionnaire. This provides focus on the areas that you'd like to work on.

In our first session we'll go through your questionnaire and explore what you'd like to have happen and the changes you'd like to create. At this point we'll decide what happens next.  Some clients only need a couple of sessions, and some like to book a block of sessions, enabling a deep dive into one or multiple areas of life.

Why start coaching?
Perhaps you feel stuck, or blocked in some way? Perhaps you're repeating the same old pattern and you want to make a change? Or maybe you want to rise to a new challenge and feel that you could use some additional support.

Whatever your situation, coaching will typically help you to move forward with greater momentum than going it alone.

Whether you need support with your business, career or personal development, we'll work together to remove your stumbling blocks, so that you gain the clarity and confidence to take your next best steps.

I'll help you to put your plans into action so that you get the results you deserve. Coaching sets you up for success.

How do we work together?

I see clients face to face and also work with clients online and by phone.

What to expect:
When coaching with me you’ll find a compassionate space to discover your own truth.

You’ll be asked questions that stretch your thinking, and you’ll find ways to connect to your deepest wisdom. I'll share things that I notice, so that you can get to know yourself better.  This may also help you to discover new ways of seeing and doing things.

I’ll be on your team, and yet I’m not playing the same role as a friend, colleague or family member.  You’ll gain a perspective that’s both objective and 100% focused on helping you to get what you want from your life. That’s the beauty of having a coach alongside you.

Where does coaching take place?
I see clients face to face in Stratford Upon Avon and surrounding areas.  I also work with  clients online or on the phone. I can come to your workplace for business based / executive coaching if that's your preference.

How many sessions will I need?
Some people like to come for long term work, over several months.  Others choose to only have a few sessions. It depends on what you’d like to change or achieve.

However long your journey, my commitment to you is that I’ll go the distance with you.

What to do next:
If you think we could be a good fit then give me a call or drop me an email. I’d love to hear from you.

Warmest wishes,

Sue

Further information

What Clients Say - below are some testimonials to give you a sense of your coaching experience.

Business Coaching

"Sue has a strong understanding of workplace psychology and as such has been illuminating to better understand employees, and our own, mind-sets, working preferences and information filters.  We now communicate considerably better as individuals and teams, across our business.

Her work has been invaluable, and I can highly recommend her." RC

“Coaching with Sue is like resetting the mind into a different way of thinking.  It’s implemented in everything I do in the office. It’s not necessarily tangible, just reflected in the day to day. For example I come up with different ways of doing things than I would have in the past.  It’s like a mental refresh.  There’s something about how you say things. It takes the weight off my shoulders and I come out less stressed:  I have a calmer mind-set and a plan in place. Is my time with Sue valuable? 100% yes!” AP

Personal Development Coaching

“Sue is an exquisite listener and somehow she always just knows what to ask next and gets a feel for what it is that I needed in each moment. I get the feeling that she is really with me 100 percent, she also shows great sensitivity and respect and patience.” EW

“I now feel more focused and calm about the issues I came to see Sue about.  I have more clarity and a definite action plan on how I am going to achieve my goals.  I also feel much more positive about my current situation.” JO

“Sue is a person I immediately felt comfortable to start working with. She is highly skilled at the same time as being sensitive, flexible and creative. My sessions with her were very useful in achieving a more balanced and blessed life. Thank you!” CC

Confidence Coaching

"Before I worked with Sue I had on numerous occasions allowed unwanted assumptions about certain people and scenarios get in the way of what I was trying to achieve and over time these certain thoughts became embedded habits. I would seek differences in situations as opposed to the similarities, I would devise thoughts that played against my real aim and objectives and for years this I am sure held me back in some shape or form, in fact I know it did!

After weekly sessions I no longer have the degree of these thoughts and my behaviours as a result have changed, and I am able to significantly control my thoughts and therefore my emotions. I can now actively engage in various scenarios without thinking twice or being apprehensive about the way ahead, and I feel so much better for it.

It has helped my confidence, cleared my mind of unwanted thoughts and as a result helped me in my personal life too!! Thank you, Sue." HS

You rock Sue!! Thank you so much for everything you have provided me with, and helping me be what I am today! Greatly appreciated." JD

"Fabulous!! Life will never be the same – how wonderful!" SW

Relationship Coaching

“I asked Sue for help when my relationship ended. I am reasonably self-aware and had begun to notice a recurring pattern of behaviour on my part. I didn’t want to enter into another relationship without having addressed the behaviour.

It was an emotional time, and my thinking was certainly compromised. I was aware of Sue scribbling words and drawing pictures, untangling the threads of my confused mind. She can do that without her eyes leaving your face, and without breaking her focus on you. She’s listening and watching. And untangling.

She guided me through a series of questions, asking me to notice certain aspects of my behaviour. And then shared with me an observation, which for me was the critical insight. I uncovered a fundamental pattern of behaviour, and in the days that followed, I begun to realise the different ways it had affected me throughout my life. It has triggered major positive behavioural changes for me.” MS

Parenting Coaching

“I wasn't sure how coaching would work for me, but I went in with an open mind. Within the first session Sue helped me admit something to myself that I had felt too scared to admit for quite a while - My daughter wasn't my entire world. She's a part of it (a very big part!) but I need other things in my life - and that is ok. As soon as I admitted this out loud I felt an overwhelming sense of relief. It sounds so obvious and small reflecting back, but this was a major milestone for me, and I could not have achieved it without the open, non-judgemental support from Sue. Without the pressure from myself to make my daughter the centre of my world, I could start to create a more balanced life for myself.

Since this first session with Sue life at home has been constantly evolving. Having a child has made me re-evaluate all my priorities, and having Sue to help me through the crazy, scary and challenging thoughts that fly around my head is proving to be invaluable!” RC

Staff Coaching

"We have seen notable improvements in employee attitude, drive and organisational skills.  The confidence levels of those who were notably insecure have risen considerably." RC

"Sue’s style is particularly engaging, irrespective of what level of person she works with.  She sits with people rather than above and this approach instantly builds rapport and trust.  People, whether initially keen on receiving coaching or being somewhat nonchalant, invariably speak highly positively about her training and coaching after sessions with her. " RC

Dyslexia Coaching

"I was introduced to Sue Sharp through being diagnosed with Dyslexia.  I have had the pleasure over several months of being taught Coaching Strategies by Sue.  Through the help and guidance Sue has given me people have seen a change in me in many ways, the most important one is that I am a more confident person and I can take these lessons away with me to help me in the future.

During my time with Sue she has been professional at all times, but what I would like to emphasise is Sue is extremely kind, understanding and patient, but most of all she makes you feel at ease.  I would have no hesitation to recommend Sue to anyone who requires her service." JJ

NLP Change Work

"At first I was a bit dubious of NLP, I had heard about it but never experienced how good it really is.

I can totally recommend Sue and NLP as a therapy. Sue is a very warm person and makes you feel totally at ease. I used NLP to address some fears and phobias and I can honestly say it worked a treat and improved my quality of life. The techniques are quite easy to follow, and if you can use your imagination and really participate in the sessions a positive outcome is guaranteed." JL

"It has been really interesting and inspiring going to the NLP sessions with Sue. I love the idea of being able to re-program habits and patterns from the past and start fresh with projects and life itself, as has been my experience since learning about NLP.
Sue creates a very open and safe atmosphere where I feel confident to talk about and work through things. I recommend anyone to try it out and see for themselves the impact it can have in their personal lives." SS
