Why I got into coaching
I have always had a wide range range of interests and tried to pursue many of them in my work. This has provided stimulation, variety and helped me to develop numerous skills. I used to berate myself for not being able to just focus on one thing and simply choose a career to follow. However, I now see that my varied skills and experience provide me with many benefits. I get to try new things, I'm always learning and developing, I'm adaptable and not afraid of challenge.
In a world where being a specialist is highly celebrated (and rightly so) I want to encourage those people who are multi-skilled and multi-talented to embrace their strengths and live a life they love however that takes shape. My aim is to help and support people to enjoy the many facets of life, not just focus on work. I've come to realise that how I lead my life is far more important than my job title.
It's important that a client feels comfortable and confident with me as their coach so I offer a free initial session of 30 minutes to find out more about each other and answer questions.
I work with people on a 1 to 1 basis - face to face, Skype and telephone. Walking is a great way to improve clarity and can be a great way of getting results fast.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a coach I have worked with clients from business, the NHS, retail, education and post graduate students.
I completed my Personal Performance Diploma (Life Coaching) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner training with The Coaching Academy, which is the leading coach training provider. In 2018 I was shortlisted for The Coaching Academy's Best Newcomer Award.

My work experience includes community development, training / teaching, project work and outdoor education. I love working with people; passing on skills and seeing them develop. I also have experience of mindfulness which I try to practise on a regular basis.

Change is a process not an event! Everyone is different so the number of sessions required can vary, however I find that working together over several sessions is best for developing a good working relationship and creating a powerful impact. Generally I find 6 - 12 sessions work well. The cost is £60 for a 1 hour session with a discount for block booking.
