Life, Well-being and Walking Coach

About me

If you’re looking for a coach then I know you are ready to start making changes and improvements in your life. This may be a big step for you or maybe it’s just the next action in your journey – whichever it is I’m here to support you.

Benefits of Life Coaching

Coaching is an empowering process that helps you to live your life more fully and with purpose. It can help you gain clarity, identifying what’s important to you and give you more choices as to how you engage with the world. As your coach I work alongside you to create an action plan to implement lasting positive changes. When you improve things in one area of your life you often find that other areas improve too. Working together we seek out and challenge limiting beliefs so you achieve more than you thought possible. You will learn tools that will help in all areas of your life and improve your mindset so you are more able to deal with whatever life presents. Clients comment that they appreciate the time and space to think and be fully listened to by someone non-judgemental.

Here are some of the areas that I work with people on:

Personal Development

  • Understanding yourself better so you can lead a life more in alignment with what you want
  • Identifying your values and what's important to you so you can make decisions with confidence
  • Identifying limiting beliefs and obstacles that prevent you from being your best self or are holding you back
  • Overcoming procrastination and increasing motivation
  • Recognising and utilising your current skills and strengths to build confidence

Living the life you want

  • Making the most of your time so you can do everything you want to do and create a work life balance that's appropriate for you
  • Creating and developing positive habits and breaking negative patterns
  • Finding or rediscovering your purpose and sense of direction in life
  • Reducing stress and incorporating healthy habits that support holistic well-being
  • Improving mindset so that you can deal with whatever life presents
  • Opening up choices and opportunities so you no longer feel stuck
  • Releasing your creative side

Dealing with change

  • Cultivating a positive attitude to make the most of any circumstance
  • Learning to see situations from different perspectives
  • Deciding on career options and or education
  • How to deal with redundancy and what next
  • How to move forwards after a break up or divorce
  • Increasing confidence after a bereavement or other life changing circumstance

  • How to improve communication with family, friends or work colleagues
  • How to develop more fulfilling relationships in your work or personal life
  • How to understand others more effectively so as to build rapport

Why I got into coaching

I have always had a wide range range of interests and tried to pursue many of them in my work. This has provided stimulation, variety and helped me to develop numerous skills. I used to berate myself for not being able to just focus on one thing and simply choose a career to follow. However, I now see that my varied skills and experience provide me with many benefits. I get to try new things, I'm always learning and developing, I'm adaptable and not afraid of challenge. I have a wealth of skills to draw upon which can also help my clients.

In a world where being a specialist is highly celebrated (and rightly so) I want to encourage those people who are multi-skilled and multi-talented to embrace their strengths and live a life they love however that takes shape. My aim is to help and support people to enjoy the many facets of life, not just focus on work. I've come to realise that how I lead my life is far more important than my job title

It's important that you feel ready for coaching, are comfortable and confident with me as your coach so I offer a free initial 30 minute session to find out more about each other and answer questions.

I work with people on a 1 to 1 basis - face to face, video call and telephone. As a firm believer in the power of the outdoors I also offer walking sessions. Walking is a great way to improve clarity and can be an enjoyable way of getting results fast.

Additional information

Change is a process not an event! Everyone is different so the number of sessions required can vary, however I find that working together over several sessions is best for developing a good working relationship and creating a powerful impact. My Magnificent 7 package includes 7 x 1 hour sessions, DISC profiling, tools / worksheets where appropriate and email support for £500.  (Payment by instalments available). You can find out more about the package by visiting my website:

Get in touch to organise your free 30 minute consultation so we can discuss your requirements.

When I work

I'm generally flexible with sessions and can offer both day and evening slots. Dependent on location I can also meet at your place of work to offer lunch time coaching walks

Further information

It's important to recognise that successful people have coaches - working with a coach isn't a sign of weakness. Coaching is an empowering process and will have a massive impact on improving all areas of life, not just the area being coached on.

What my clients say...

*My recovery from being a tearful, frightened new widow to being a settled, happy and ready for life woman is, in large part, down to you and I can't imagine where I'd be without your steady, persuasive approach. (Judy)

*Time to reflect on everything that was happening and acknowledge that how I was feeling was normal and within my power to control.  An opportunity to consider options and understand that there are no “rules” about what I do and when. I learned that my personal well-being is key to ensuring that I can do my job and support my family, therefore to give this serious time and consideration.  I'd not previously thought about how important my hobbies were to me. (Judith, Head Teacher, SEN specialist school)

*I had my development day last weekend which was very scary but I think I got through ok. Just an assessment day to do this weekend and then i will be a qualified level 1 British cycling coach! I nearly didn't go as it was creating quite a lot of anxiety but I guess that is part of developing and growing. Still feeling quite awkward talking to groups of people but getting better. I'm getting so much more than cycling based coaching from this and I'm already applying it to my current job. I wouldn't have got this far without your help so would just like to say a huge thank you and I'll be in touch soon to see what the next step is.

Thanks again, Chris

*I found it useful to take time to organise my thoughts and prioritise issues. It was helpful to set steps for how to solve my problems (Gina, PGCE student)

*I now have a plan of action for managing the move into retirement (Val, Head teacher)

*I'm more relaxed knowing I have control over the goal and it doesn't matter what others think or do (Kathryn, Assistant Head teacher)

*Excellent workshop. Thoroughly motivating, inspiring, challenging. It really helped me break down my priorities and truly acknowledge the areas I need to work on (Vanessa, Cardiac Physiologist)

*I found it useful to have the time to sit and gather my thoughts into an organised plan and focused direction to head in (Natalie-Claire, Engineer and Coach)

*Another great session. Delving deeper into aspects of my life that I feel are currently lacking and seeing a clear path through. Rebecca is one of those people you feel naturally drawn to and can't help but like. This is one of the many strengths that helps make her coaching so effective. None of the "tasks" and pointers feels arduous or a pointless exercise but instead are cathartic, reassuring and I personally always felt inspired and lighter for our sessions.  (Leigh, Teaching Assistant)
