I have been passionate about learning and personal development for many years. The first personal development book I read was Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers. It had a massive impact on me and I’ve been hooked on personal development ever since. Through personal experience I understand how coaching and self-improvement can be hugely beneficial.
How Life Coaching can help you
Coaching is an empowering process that helps people to live their life more fully and with purpose. It can help identify what’s important to you and give you more choices as to how you engage with the world. As your coach I work alongside you to create an action plan to implement lasting positive changes. When you improve things in one area of your life you often find that other areas improve too. Working together we seek out and challenge limiting beliefs so you achieve more than you thought possible. You will learn tools that will help in all areas of your life. Clients comment that they appreciate the time and space to think and be fully listened to by someone non-judgemental.
Who I work with
I work with a whole spectrum of people; they may be from different backgrounds but they have one thing in common – they’ve listened to that niggling voice that says things could be better and are ready to take action.
My particular interest is helping people develop a holistic strategy to help them enjoy and engage with life more fully. Clients come to me for many different reasons - often when they are going through a period of transition. People thinking of changing careers or adjusting to a new job, coming up to retirement or going through a separation, anything where there is change. Some people are highly successful but are lacking in life satisfaction – coaching identifies what’s missing.
How I work
It's important that a client feels comfortable and confident with their coach so I offer a free initial session of 30 minutes to discuss how coaching can help you and answer questions.
I work with people on a 1 to 1 basis - face to face or coaching walks, Skype and telephone. Coaching Walks are a great way to improve clarity and can be conducted over a lunch break.
Sessions are normally 1 hour in duration and I recommend at least 4 sessions for the best results - change is a process not an event!
I also deliver workshops on several topics, including goal setting and time management.

My background is varied and includes community development, training / teaching, project work and outdoor education. I love working with people; passing on skills and seeing them develop.
