About me
Hello, my name is Owen Thomas.
My journey into career coaching was born from a deep curiosity about what makes work meaningful, and how we can all find roles that align with our strengths, values, and aspirations.
After two decades in the fast-paced world of television and film, I witnessed firsthand how creative professionals thrive when they feel seen, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their careers. Winning a BAFTA was a career highlight, but the real reward was collaborating with teams to turn raw ideas into powerful stories.
That experience taught me the transformative power of clarity, confidence, and purpose, lessons I now bring to my coaching practice. I’m especially drawn to helping individuals navigate transitions, whether they’re pivoting industries, stepping into leadership, or simply seeking more fulfillment in their daily work. Coaching, for me, is about unlocking potential and helping others write their own success stories.
My coaching is rooted in a strengths-based, neuro-affirming philosophy that honours each client’s unique journey. Drawing on my MSc training in Career Coaching & Coaching Psychology, I blend evidence-based models with practical tools to help you clarify your goals, build resilience, and design a career path that feels authentic.
My background in television has sharpened my ability to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and create a space where insights emerge naturally. Whether you’re a student exploring possibilities, a professional at a crossroads, or an organisation looking to develop talent, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are.
Together, we’ll focus on actionable strategies, balancing ambition with self-awareness, to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
