About me

I am a certified ADHD Coach and was trained at the International ADHD Center with Laurie Daupar. The course is ICF accredited. I provide ADHD coaching where I support people with ADHD to improve their executive functioning skills and habit formation, develop coping skills and help clients understand their strengths. I also specialize in autism and dyslexia coaching.

Most of my clients were diagnosed as adults with ADHD who need support with understanding their ADHD and how it affects them; discovering their strengths; developing strategies to manage things they find difficult; developing accountability to achieve their personal and career goals.  Most of my clients have ADHD and another comorbidity like dyslexia, depression, and autism. My coaching also focuses on understanding the interactions between ADHD and other comorbidities.

My approach to coaching is for sessions to be client-led and goal orientated. This means after every session, the client should have some practical steps to take. I also take notes and share worksheets and resources with my clients.

I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, so I know firsthand the difficulties of women being diagnosed late as an adult. I also adopt a culturally sensitive lens when coaching ethnic minority clients with ADHD coaching. This is important to me for one of many reasons I trained as an ADHD coach to increase diversity in the ADHD coaching profession.

Prior to training as a certified ADHD Coach, I worked in management consulting and investment management. I'm now a tech entrepreneur and work with universities in their research and innovation teams. I am passionate about neurodiversity and entrepreneurship. I am also an actress, aspiring author, and neurodiversity public speaker and advocate. I regularly facilitate the ADHD women support group with ADHD UK charity.

Further information

I conduct all of my coachings online via 50-minute coaching sessions. This is because I have noticed that clients with ADHD will struggle to stay focused beyond 50 minutes. I take notes and share them with clients so that they can be focused on the session. Clients are encouraged to book all of the sessions in advance so that all coaching meetings are in the diary.

I adopt a strengths-based approach to coaching and empower clients to actively bring topics they want to address in our coaching session. Clear outcomes for the session will be defined at the start so we know what we are working towards. During the coaching, I will use mindful listening and careful questioning to help evoke self-awareness within the client. This self-awareness can help clients understand how their ADHD brain works or make other realizations of how they have viewed the world with their ADHD. I also share strategies and research to help aid clients in developing tools to help them with executive functioning. At the end of each session, clients will have an immediate list of the next steps to action.
