About me

My name is Kerry, and I’m passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves.

Life can be incredibly difficult at times. Stress, self-doubt, not knowing what you want (or knowing, but not knowing how to get it), feeling ignored, overlooked, defeated… it’s no wonder you’re feeling exhausted and drained right now!

This is where coaching can help. I work with adults (and young adults) who are feeling stuck. We will look at ways to increase your confidence with your career and home life, to bring positivity back into your life, and to feel more in control and better equipped to handle anything that comes your way.

Having been on a self-discovery and reflective journey for many years, I love each new day and the possibilities that it brings - and I will work with you to get that sense of excitement back again, too!

Coaching is a very effective method for personal and professional development. It can help you to achieve so much, including:

  • A better work/life balance.
  • Better relationships.
  • Positive self-talk; working through your barriers.
  • Find your passions and happiness in life, working through anxieties.
  • Reach your goals quicker, easier and with better results.
  • Limit your overthinking and/or stress.
  • A way to move forwards positively, perhaps following counselling or other talk therapies.

I’d really love to help you to find your confidence again - to feel empowered to live the life you want to live - so please get in touch.

Additionally, if you are a Mother or Daughter looking to strengthen your relationship, overcome any major obstacles, or to stop the fighting and conflict, then I can help. I am a qualified Mother-Daughter Coach, trained by the world's leading expert on Mother-Daughter relationships through Mother-Daughter Coaching International. We will look at the root causes of your conflict, and move forwards helping you in your relationship.

If you have any questions about Coaching or how I can help before getting started, please reach out by phone, email or via the booking tool above, and we can arrange your free initial telephone or online session

Other areas of coaching I deal with

I am also a certified Mother-Daughter Coach trained by Mother-Daughter Coaching International. The Mother-Daughter relationship is rarely given the attention it deserves - yet it can have a huge impact on both sides of the relationship throughout your entire lifetime.

If your mother-daughter relationship leaves you feeling:

  • Unappreciated and frustrated.
  • Like you are never quite good enough.
  • Unable to say what you really think and feel.
  • Misunderstood.
  • Too much conflict happening to have a loving and supportive relationship.
  • Arguing and fighting over who gets heard and seen.
  • Like you cannot express your needs for fear of being judged (or worse).

... then Mother-Daughter coaching is for you.

I bring a unique perspective to coaching, and my understanding of the complexities of the mother-daughter relationship allows me to help mothers and daughters develop more meaningful relationships and deeper connections. On a personal level, I couldn’t believe how much of an impact it had on me (leading me to train in it myself!) - the sense of healing, resolution, understanding and forgiveness has made an enormous impact on my own wellbeing, and I would love to share my skills with you.

Testimonials 2024

"I was new to life coaching when I stumbled across Kerry - I'd just moved back to the UK, to a new area, with no friends, no family, a new job. Finding Kerry was kismet - I don't know what I was looking for, but I can say for certain that I found it (and more) with Kerry's support.

Having tried counselling before, it never felt like I was progressing from my past. Life coaching with Kerry has been all about looking forwards and upwards. To develop an achievable, realistic strategy for self-improvement.

I won't say I haven't taken a few wrong turns, but each time I have, Kerry has supported me, empowered me, and helped me. We look at the situation, accept what has happened, and together, open my mind to the opportunities and paths ahead in a positive direction.

There is no judgement, there is no forced perspective. It's all done on my terms, with my consent and based entirely on my experience - just with Kerry's help to see it clearly.

Kerry is professional, witty, supportive, and deeply empathetic. She is like my conscience and guide. Her professionalism never wavers, and I feel like she knows me better than myself.

Life coaching with Kerry has been like speaking to myself in the mirror. Kerry holds the mirror still in front of me, so I can truly see myself - She doesn't waver, doesn't distort the image, and doesn't just describe me in her terms. With Kerry, I can be brutally honest to and about myself; free of judgement and safe in the knowledge that her confidential sessions are perfectly crafted to help me develop into the best person I didn't even know I could be." Neera

"I came to Kerry after reaching a breaking point in my life. I suffered a nervous breakdown in 2023, and although painful, it was, as I see it now, the greatest gift I have been given. After being stripped of everything - materialistically and emotionally - I was at a point where I realised my old behaviours were no longer serving me, my daughter, or my mother; I recognised there was significant trauma that needed to be uncovered to allow me to break free.

I found Kerry online through pure chance, and she responded quickly to my expression of interest. I knew she would be the right coach for us. Fortunately, my mother was a willing participant and joined the coaching with an open mindset, and because of this, the mother-daughter coaching model worked incredibly well. With Kerry's kind and empathic support, my mother and I could, for the first time in our lives, communicate deep-rooted feelings that had previously been met with anger or, more commonly, were swept under the carpet. I had always experienced an 'elephant in the room' whenever my mum was physically present. After our final session, my mother and I were smiling. We'd even met in person for lunch, and I didn't feel any shame or guilt at that lunch. I was able to be authentically me, and my mother was too. I have also noticed a change in how I am parenting my teenage daughter, meaning I am now more capable of breaking the chain of anger, resentment, guilt, and shame. I have also learnt that listening to actually hear and respond accordingly is where the magic happens.

Thank you, Kerry. The coaching you have provided has been game-changing, and both my mother and I are incredibly grateful. Heidi

Our daughter spent time with Kerry to help her make the decision about secondary school and where she would like to go. Kerry spent time talking to myself beforehand about my daughter and her background.

She instantly felt comfortable in Kerry's presence and really enjoyed the sessions she had. Kerry was easy to talk to and asked pertinent questions to coach Ruby into making a choice that she felt happy with.

Kerry is incredibly knowledgeable, and her experience is reflected in the advice and strategies she has presented us with that have made such a difference.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much." - Nicola

"Dear Kerry - I would like to say thank you for the work you have been able to do with us both and opening my eyes to the past...

I do feel stronger now and the conversations I have had with Victoria have been very positive... - Part of Mother-Daughter Coaching Couple

Additional feedback from my clients who I've been lucky enough to work with:

“I can honestly say the hours I’ve spent with Kerry have been some of the most impactful of my life. Kerry has opened my mind to many new concepts, has given me more of an insight as to who I am, and has most importantly shown me that traits I saw previously as ‘weak’ are actually my superpowers. I will always be grateful for this essential part of my personal growth journey, a part I never knew I needed.”  Megan, Lincoln

“I recently had an amazing 1:1 coaching session with Kerry. Her warm, caring nature helped me to feel relaxed and at ease from the very beginning of the session. Kerry helped to me to dig deep and find the solutions I’d been searching for. I found the experience incredibly empowering. It’s like the answers were there all the time, within me, I just needed someone to help me unearth them. Kerry was that person for me!”  Rachel, South Shields

"I recently contacted Kerry for some Mother Daughter Coaching. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I just knew that I wanted to understand the relationship between my mum and me, and the reason I was so attached to her. All I can say is the whole process has been transformational for me. I’ve definitely been on a journey, that has not only helped me understand my mum’s relationship with her own mother, but it’s also helped me understand the reasons why she has parented the way she has, and also where I have become the ‘line of change’, parenting in a completely different style to my mum. It’s also helped me view my mum through softer eyes, and be far less judgmental. I highly recommend Kerry as a Mother-Daughter Coach."  Yvonne, East Lincolnshire.
