About me
Something has shifted, and you're ready for change. Maybe you're navigating a career transition, processing a late ADHD or Autism diagnosis, moving through menopause, or standing at a crossroads and quietly wondering, 'What now?' or, 'Is this really it?' Whatever is bringing you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm Helen Bennett, a therapy-informed life and career coach for women. I work with professional women who are outwardly capable and often high-achieving, but who are searching for greater clarity, confidence and a deeper sense of purpose and happiness in their lives and work.
I specialise in four key areas:
- ADHD & Autism Coaching: A late ADHD or Autism diagnosis (or self-diagnosis) can be a relief, a grief and a complete reframe of your personal history, all at once. I work with neurodivergent women to build self-awareness, rebuild confidence and self-esteem, and develop a way of living and working that plays to their genuine strengths. This isn't about tips and tricks - it's about truly understanding your brain and working with it, not against it.
- Menopause Coaching: Menopause is about far more than physical symptoms. It can profoundly shift your sense of identity, motivation, and purpose. I support women to approach this life stage with clarity, resilience and renewed confidence, turning what can feel like loss into an opportunity for personal growth and wellbeing.
- Life Transition Coaching: Whether you're navigating a relationship change, returning to work after time away, relocating, retiring, or simply feeling that something needs to shift, I provide a supportive, structured space to process change, reconnect with your values, and move forward with a clearer sense of direction and happiness.
- Career Transition Coaching: Feeling stuck, unfulfilled or ready for something entirely new? I work with professional women on career change, workplace challenges, progression and purpose, bringing both coaching expertise and a grounded background in People and HR to help you take your next step with confidence and clarity.
How I work:
I work relationally, which means I believe our coaching relationship is where the real magic happens. I create a warm, supportive and genuinely non-judgemental space where you can explore what's going on, build self-awareness, and work out what needs to change. I'm not about ego or bluster - I bring my genuine, human self to every session and our best work together will happen when you feel able to bring yours too.
I have lived experience of navigating significant career and personal transitions, and I understand how change can be a destabilising mix of daunting, exciting, necessary, frustrating and invigorating, often all at once. I bring a growth mindset, a good dose of empathy and humour, and a practical, encouraging approach that holds you accountable while meeting you where you are.
Alongside my coaching practice...
I run a private therapy practice specialising in menopause, hormonal health and neurodivergence, provide clinical supervision to counsellors and therapists, and host training for professionals in the health, coaching and wellness sectors. I've appeared in HuffPost, SELF, and on the Clearly Clinical and Disordered podcasts, among others, as a specialist in menopause and neurodivergent women's wellbeing.
I offer coaching online and by telephone, so wherever you are in the UK or Europe, I'm here.

Professional Background
Before training as a coach and therapist, I spent years working in People and HR leadership roles in high-growth start-ups and professional services organisations across financial services, recruitment, education, publishing, hospitality, fashion, and beauty. This gave me a grounded, real-world understanding of career dynamics, workplace challenges, personal resilience, and organisational change - experience I bring directly to my career and professional transition coaching work.
I am committed to continuous professional development and undertake regular CPD across coaching, therapy, and my specialist areas of neurodivergence, hormone health, and women's wellbeing.
