Life Coach/Executive Coach/Senior Leadership Consultant

About me

You can be incredibly capable and still have parts of your life you can't quite figure out.

Maybe you know exactly what the issue is. The relationship pattern you keep repeating. The decision you have been circling. The confidence that looks solid on the outside but doesn't always feel that way on the inside. The change you know you need to make but somehow keep postponing.

Or maybe it is harder to name.

Nothing is obviously wrong. On paper, your life may even look pretty good. And yet there is a nagging sense that something is off. That this should feel better than it does. That you should be happier, more certain, further along or over something by now.

Sometimes the most frustrating part is that you have already thought about it. A lot.

You may even understand exactly why you do what you do.

But knowing why and knowing how to change it are not the same thing.

And sometimes, when you have spent long enough inside your own thinking, what you need isn't more thinking. You need someone who can help you see what is difficult to see when you're right in the middle of it.

That is often where our work begins.

How I work
My role is to help you make sense of what is going on, see what may be difficult to see on your own, and work out what you want to do differently.

One of my strengths as a coach is spotting patterns and connections, including between things that may initially seem unrelated.

What looks like a problem with work, confidence, a relationship or a particular decision rarely exists in isolation. I tend to look at the whole picture: what is happening, what may be driving it, and how different experiences, beliefs and ways of responding may be influencing one another.

Clients often tell me I am able to put words to something they have been feeling but have struggled to articulate themselves. There can be real relief in finally being able to name and understand something that has felt vague, confusing or just out of reach.

But we do not stop at understanding.

Together, we look at what that insight allows you to see differently, choose differently and ultimately do differently.

Our conversations might explore:

a decision or transition you are struggling to navigate
confidence that feels less solid on the inside than it might appear on the outside
overthinking, perfectionism or constantly second-guessing yourself
patterns that keep showing up at work or in relationships
boundaries, communication and people-pleasing
a sense that you have outgrown something but are unsure what comes next
knowing what you want to change but struggling to follow through
what you actually want, rather than what you think you should want
The work can go deep, but it is always in service of helping you move forward with greater awareness and choice.

What can change
There is no single version of what successful coaching looks like because people come to me for very different reasons.

For one person, it might mean finally making a career decision they have been circling for months. For another, recognising and changing a relationship pattern that has followed them for years. For someone else, it might be understanding why a life that looks good on paper no longer feels quite right, and working out what they want instead.

You may find that you:

understand yourself and your patterns more clearly
make decisions with greater clarity and confidence
spend less time overthinking and second-guessing yourself
recognise old patterns earlier and have more choice in how you respond
communicate more clearly and navigate difficult conversations more effectively
become more comfortable setting boundaries or asking for what you need
follow through on changes rather than repeatedly thinking about making them
feel clearer about what matters to you and where you want to put your energy
trust your own judgement, particularly when there is no obviously "right" answer.

Why work with me?
I have been coaching for more than 12 years and have completed over 2,000 hours of one-to-one coaching.

Alongside my private coaching practice, I work as a senior leadership development consultant, supporting senior leaders and organisations with leadership, behaviour, performance and change, often in complex and high-pressure environments.

Over the years, I have coached people from very different backgrounds and at very different stages of life. Many are thoughtful, capable people who are used to taking responsibility, solving problems and functioning well, even when something underneath the surface is proving harder to navigate.

That breadth has shaped the way I coach.

I meet you where you are.

I want our coaching relationship to be a place where you can explore what is really going on without judgement, while also knowing that I will challenge you when you need it and sometimes tell you what you need to hear, rather than what you might want to hear.

But challenge is only part of the relationship. I am firmly in your corner.

I will help you think strategically when things feel complicated, support you when they feel difficult, and remind you of your strengths and what might be possible when you temporarily lose sight of those things yourself.

And there will usually be humour along the way. Coaching can involve serious subjects without every conversation having to feel heavy.

You do not need to arrive with perfect clarity about what is wrong, what you want or what needs to change. We start with what is happening for you now and work from there.

Together, we make sense of what is going on, uncover what may be sitting underneath it, and work towards changes that feel meaningful and right for you.

Working together
I initially work with clients for three months, usually across six one-to-one sessions. Some clients choose to continue for six months or longer, depending on what they want to work on and how our work develops.

If something you have read here feels familiar, you are welcome to arrange an initial conversation.

We will talk about what is going on, what you would like to be different and whether working together feels like the right fit.

You do not need to have everything figured out before we speak.

Sometimes figuring that out is part of the work.
