About me
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression or PTSD – and feeling like nothing has truly worked?
You’re not alone, and you’re not broken. Sometimes the missing piece isn’t more willpower or better coping strategies – it’s healing the trauma underneath, because trauma is often the hidden driver behind the symptoms. When you heal it at the source, you can finally flourish and feel happier, calmer and freer.
I’m a certified Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Facilitator, and I help people move beyond survival mode to genuinely reclaim their lives.
Unlike many forms of coaching or therapy that focus on managing symptoms, TIR is a simple, structured, evidence-based process that helps you safely process unresolved traumatic experiences, including ones you may not even realise are still affecting you, so you no longer carry the same emotional impact on your everyday life.
Many clients experience meaningful breakthroughs in weeks rather than years – not because it’s a quick fix, but because it works at a level most therapies don’t reach.
You don’t have to spend the rest of your life living in pain. If you’re ready to leave the past where it belongs and move forward with greater peace, confidence and freedom, I’d love to help.
I offer a free 20-minute Zoom call with no pressure and no obligation – simply a chance to explore whether TIR is right for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work in a warm, compassionate way with zero judgment, bringing years of experience from my own journey and extensive training, so clients feel safe while doing trauma work.
I am a certified TIR (Traumatic Incident Reduction) facilitator and trauma specialist, trained under the supervision of Dr John Durkin and Victor Lyons, who I regard as two of the foremost experts in trauma.
I have experienced and researched almost every therapy technique out there to find out what really works so you don’t have to, including EMDR, CBT, psychotherapy, psychedelics, and hypnosis. Many of these have been incredibly helpful, but nothing I have found is as effective for trauma as TIR.
As a gay man, I have a particular interest in helping LGBTQ+ people, but am keen to help as many people as possible experience the remarkable healing power of TIR and many other transformative techniques.
As a former television producer, I have worked with numerous high-profile individuals and so very much respect the importance of confidentiality and adhere to the TIRA ethical code.

Additional information
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: Most clients see meaningful change in 6-10 sessions (the average being around 8), depending on the issues being addressed. Many people notice a real difference after just a few sessions, others may take longer – there is no set number.
Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Sessions (conducted over Zoom in the UK timezone) vary in length from one to two hours (occasionally more, depending on what’s being addressed and the technique we’re using). There is no set time limit, as we never want to interrupt the flow before reaching what’s known as an ‘end point’ where you cease to feel any charge around the trauma.
Q: What are your fees?
A: Sessions are £100/hour and generally last one to two hours, and are charged on a pro-rata basis to the nearest minute – so you only pay for the exact time that it takes, and no more.
Q: How does the cost compare to traditional therapy?
A: While each session is longer, the total number of hours is far fewer than traditional talk therapy, which can take months or years, so overall it will work out a lot cheaper in the long run.

What is Traumatic Incident Reduction?
Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is based on the idea that unresolved traumatic incidents remain emotionally ‘charged’ in the mind and body.
These past events – even those long forgotten or buried in the unconscious – continue to affect how we feel in daily life; for example, a constant low-level anxiety or hypervigilance, or quick-to-trigger anger.
Unlike traditional therapy, TIR does not involve analysing your trauma or being told what it means. Instead, you safely revisit the trauma using a specific structured process, simply retelling the story several times. Each time, you release more and more trapped emotional charge, allowing your mind and nervous system to integrate the memory and view it differently so you can finally let go of it.
In doing so, TIR helps rewire the brain’s fear response, leading to markedly reduced symptoms and a hugely improved quality of life.
It’s been scientifically shown to work remarkably well, remarkably quickly.
