Transformational Coach. Reiki master Shamanic Practitioner

About me

I’m Ruby Taman, a trauma-informed somatic coach and founder of The Sacred Ibis. I work with leaders, founders, and high-achieving people who carry a great deal of responsibility. You may be the person everyone relies on, while privately feeling exhausted, anxious, or unsure what you want for yourself.

In our work together, you have space to put down the pressure to perform. We explore what is happening beneath the surface: the stress you feel in your body, the patterns shaping your decisions, and the boundaries you find difficult to hold. I bring warmth and honesty to our conversations, alongside practical steps you can take in your life and work.

I’m trained in several approaches, including trauma-informed somatic coaching, Reiki, and shamanic healing. These give me a wider understanding of how people experience change. In coaching, I draw on what is relevant and welcome to you, so you feel supported as a whole person. We agree together on how we work.

My aim is for you to leave our work feeling clearer, steadier and more connected to your own choices. You may find it easier to recognise what matters, trust your judgement and lead without carrying everything alone.

I bring more than ten years of experience supporting clients and 160 hours of training in trauma-informed somatic coaching. I work with you as an equal, respecting your pace, your ambitions, and your freedom to choose your next step.

Areas of coaching I deal with

Other areas of coaching I deal with

Nervous system coaching helps you notice how stress shows up in your body and how it affects your choices. Together, we practise ways to feel steadier, respond rather than react, and move forward at a pace that feels manageable.

Fees

Free initial telephone or online session

Additional information

My three-session foundation programme is £660. I also offer longer coaching programmes for people who want sustained support. We can begin with an initial conversation about what you want to change, how I work and whether we feel like a good fit. I will explain the programme and full fee before you decide to book.

Further information

I offer an initial conversation so we can explore what you’re looking for and whether working together feels right. There is no pressure to commit. My coaching is tailored to you, and we agree together which approaches you feel comfortable bringing into our work.
