Hi, I'm Zoe, and whilst I don't believe that I am the expert or have all the answers, I do sincerely believe in the power of the coaching relationship and process and in my client's uniqueness and ability to take leadership of their own life.
Retirement and growing old can throw up significant changes, concerns and challenges. It also brings with it huge opportunities for growth and new accomplishments. Are you ready to embrace your later life and to age with gusto!?
Let me tell you how I can help you in the words of my client:
"When I started my sessions with Zoe I was 66 and retired for a year. I felt quite lost without the routine, structure, status, meaning and friendships that work had given me. Over the past 6 months a new me has emerged. I now embrace my retirement with a sense of excitement, renewed confidence and a clear sense of what I want my later life to be like and the changes I want and need to make. Zoe was my " Thinking Partner", always attentive, supportive and empathetic but there to nudge me out of old patterns and barriers to progress."
Previous clients have said on retirement:
"I don't know who I am any longer and I feel of little value"
"Can I have a quality life on my pension?
"My life seems to have lost its purpose and meaning"
"I have lost many old friends and colleagues"
"There are too many hours in the day"
"Being at home more has put strain on my marriage"
They have also expressed their general fears about growing old:
"There are things I need and want to do before I die....will there be time?"
"I'm not too scared of death but really scared of the process/pain of dying"
"Will I have the strength to be a carer for my wife"
"How will I cope if I should lose my independence and become a burden to others"
" I'm really frightened of losing loved ones, of being alone"
"I don't know how I'm going to deal with losing my health/ability to do things"
If you feel the same, my clients have said that I've helped them to:
- Make friends of my fears
- Get rid of my anxiety, stress and worry
- Find peace of mind
- Find new direction, new friends and interests
- Strengthen my ability to cope with change
- Have a sense of wellbeing
- Take pride in having leadership of my life
- Overcome limiting beliefs and self-doubt
- Increase my self-confidence
- Find my mojo again

Time on rainy days are spent cooking and reading. Most importantly time spent with my family, friends and the remarkable people I coach gives my life meaning and joy.
