Change Coach & Relational Psychotherapist

About me

Working from St Albans (AL4), North London (N20) and online.

Who I Work With

I work with people seeking personal or professional development who feel stuck, low in motivation, or know they want change but can’t quite move forward.

You may be holding a big idea (a business, creative project or next step), navigating career change or development, or experiencing a life transition that has left you feeling lost or out of alignment.

My Approach

I’m a Change Coach with a strong therapeutic background, working with both present-day goals and the deeper patterns that can quietly influence progress.

I believe most people already have confidence, insight and drive. When momentum stalls, it’s often because something needs understanding rather than pushing. Together, we create clarity and realistic next steps.

Why This Work Is Different

My therapeutic experience allows me to notice unconscious patterns beneath procrastination, self-doubt or loss of motivation, without getting stuck there.

We don’t analyse endlessly or dwell in the past. Awareness becomes a bridge to forward movement that feels grounded and sustainable.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I offer a supportive, relational space where you can think clearly, reflect honestly and move forward without pressure.

Clients often notice:

  • increased self-awareness
  • growing confidence and resilience
  • stronger self-trust
  • clearer goals and direction

My style is practical, encouraging and paced to you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and an EMCC Senior Practitioner–accredited Relational Coach, with over 10 years’ experience working with individuals in both therapeutic and coaching contexts.

I trained at The Counselling Foundation, completing an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, and have undertaken formal coach training, leading to Senior Practitioner (Level 7) accreditation with the EMCC.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in line with both BACP and EMCC ethical frameworks, supported by ongoing supervision and reflective practice.

My work integrates therapeutic depth where helpful with clear coaching structure, supporting meaningful and sustainable change over both short and long term work.

Additional information

Fees

My standard fee is £85 per hour.

I work flexibly and collaboratively, adapting session length and frequency to suit you.

Session Length & Frequency

  • Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes
  • Some clients prefer 90 minutes for depth (charged at £127.50)
  • Others prefer 60 minutes for focus
  • Sessions may be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or every 6 weeks

Recommended Starting Point

For first-time coaching, I usually recommend six sessions to support meaningful change. These are usually spaced over approximately three months, with session frequency agreed together.

This allows time for meaningful change while remaining flexible.

Top-Up Sessions

After the initial 6 sessions, we can review together whether you would like any top-up sessions. These can be booked pay-as-you-go or purchased as a block, depending on what suits you best.

Free Initial Consultation

I recommend a free 30-minute consultation to ensure I’m the right coach for you and to agree a plan that fits your needs. Please email me if you would like to arrange.

Types of Clients I’ve Worked With

I work with people who are ready for change, even if they’re not yet sure what that looks like.

You might be:

  • thinking about a promotion or wanting support to step confidently into a new role
  • considering a career change and needing space to think through the transition
  • holding a new business idea and wanting support to take the first steps forward
  • already running a new business and looking for accountability and clarity
  • leaving or redefining a relationship that no longer fits
  • navigating a life transition that has left you feeling unsettled or unsure
  • wanting to begin or return to a creative project such as writing or art
looking to rebuild confidence, direction and self-belief

Some clients come to coaching having already done personal or therapeutic work, while others are new to this kind of space. Coaching is not about where you’ve been, but about your wish for change and where you want to go next.

Client Examples

Examples of people I’ve worked with include:

  • women navigating menopause, reconnecting with confidence and regaining direction
  • a man in his 50s, following redundancy, reassessing his values and planning his next career move
  • a woman in her 30s leaving a mainstream professional role to set up and grow a successful business
  • a woman finding the confidence to leave a long-term relationship and rebuild self-trust and direction
  • a young man developing the confidence to leave home and begin university
  • a young woman integrating her art into her life, with a longer-term aim of developing it into a business
  • working with a family business, supporting directors to identify what’s holding them back and put clear accountability in place
  • supporting clients transitioning from therapy into forward-focused change

These examples reflect the range of personal and professional transitions people bring to coaching. Each client’s work is individual, but the focus is always on clarity, confidence and moving forward in a way that feels right for them.
